“Ab gaa le Gaana”, liberals descend upon Amruta Fadnavis like hungry vultures and troll her viciously

And we call these guys liberals

In a desperate quest of misogynistic futility, the ‘liberal intellectuals’ of the country have found a new persona in Amruta Fadnavis, the wife of the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, to target and release their socio-political idiocy.

Recently, Amruta has lit the ever-rising anger and despair of the left liberals by tweeting an Urdu couplet on Twitter.

Liberals have started targeting her for her positive outlook as highlighted through the tweet she made on the occasion of farewell for her husband. Liberals are trying to create an online hullabaloo by personally targeting her for her singing and other professional pursuits. In a shayari, she wrote that this is a difficult phase but she will be back. She said, पलट के आऊंगी शाखों पे खुशबुएँ लेकर, खिज़ां की ज़द में हूँ मौसम ज़रा बदलने दे! Thanks Mah for memorable 5yrs as your वहिनी !The love showered by you will always make me nostalgic! I tried to perform my role to best of my abilities-with desire only to serve & make a positive diff”.

Appallingly, renowned Marathi journalist Nikhil Wagle made a regressive misogynist remark in his tweet targeting the wife of former chief minister. Wagle tweeted, “Which song will sister-in-law sing today, Devendra brother?”

Several prominent faces of Maharashtra politics have come out in support of Amruta Fadnavis including the Shiv Sena leader, Priyanka Chaturvedi.

Priyanka Chaturvedi said in a tweet, “Have some shame before you tweet such nonsense about any woman, you had tweeted something as disgusting about me as well when I had joined Shiv Sena. I stayed quiet then but not now. Won’t have any woman humiliated like this. Itna na giro ke uthna mushkil ho jaaye.”

Wagle’s tweet, now deleted, didn’t go down well. Twitterati called it to be below the belt and not in a good taste. Many called the comment ‘shameful’.

However, trolls continued to abuse her on Twitter with some saying it’s a relief that people won’t have to listen to her songs anymore, while others taking jibe at her by asking who will listen to her songs now.

Some trolls went to the extent of suggesting that had she performed items songs before elections BJP would have gained more seats. Imagine the extent of viscous trolling she has been subjected to.

This kind of regressive tweets by the supports of the Indian left has denigrated the space of political discourse in the country. The so called flag bearers of feminism have been targeting progressive Indian women such as Amruta.

Amruta Fadnavis thanked the people of Maharashtra for her memorable 5 years being their ‘sister-in’law’. It was the very term which Nikhil Wagle used in his tweet.

Notably, Amruta Fadnavis has been on the hit list of the Twitter socialist-leftists for her fiery support to her husband. Devendra Fadnavis resigned from the post of Chief Minister wherein he lasted for only 3 days and 8 hours following the early morning oath-taking ceremony where Ajit Pawar of the NCP also took oath as Deputy CM.
