PoK residents cross over to Kashmir to show ‘solidarity’, Imran Khan disowns them

Now they are orphans

Pakistan, Imran Khan, terrorists

Just when the world thought that they have seen the worst of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan at the United Nations General Assembly, he continues to surprise the world with his antics.

The positives of having Imran Khan as the Pakistan Prime Minister are plenty for India as he will surely leave no stone unturned to humiliate Pakistan at every nook and corner of the world.

However, his ability to provide comic relief through his glaring inept is often under-appreciated and Imran Khan yet again has comically disowned the residents of Pakistan occupied Kashmir on Twitter.

It’s sort of a harvest season in Pakistan as the revanchist state steps up its efforts to infiltrate terrorists into India before the advent of winter. Pakistan’s regular violations of ceasefire and shelling are well documented as they attempt to distract the Indian Army and infiltrate terrorists in India.

Every year at this time of the year, Pakistan shows its true characteristics and decides to infiltrate terrorists by the heaps across the borders with India and Afghanistan.

The winter would onset from November making it difficult for Pakistan nurtured terrorists to cross the LOC and enter India and hence, the infiltration attempts by Pakistan are at an all-time high.

Perhaps scared of India yet again humiliating Pakistan by raising this issue, Imran Khan tweeted: “I understand the anguish of the Kashmiris in AJK seeing their fellow Kashmiris in IOJK under an inhumane curfew for over 2 months. But anyone crossing the LoC from AJK to provide humanitarian aid or support for Kashmiri struggle will play into the hands of the Indian narrative – a narrative that tries to divert from the indigenous Kashmiris’ struggle against brutal Indian Occupation by trying to label it as “Islamic terrorism” being driven by Pakistan. It will give India an excuse to increase the violent oppression of Kashmiris in IOJK & attack across LoC.”

Yes, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan took to Twitter to label the terrorists as anguished citizens seeking to provide humanitarian aid for Kashmiris.

Imran Khan thought that this tweet will provide him cover when India raises the issue and yet again humiliates Pakistan. Such a poor attempt to hogwash the infiltration bids will likely find no buyers except the usual suspects and one can expect the New York Times to highlight how Pakistan is providing humanitarian aid to Jammu and Kashmir.

However, with this tweet, Imran Khan has accepted that Pakistan is attempting to destabilise India by attempting to spread terror. Imran Khan through his tweet has highlighted an important issue.

Recently, the Indian Army foiled an infiltration attempt by a Pakistani BAT(Border Action Team) squad along the Line of Control in Keran Sector of Kupwara in the 1st week of August and the video released by the army, one can easily spot at least five bodies of the BAT personnel/terrorists and their equipment can be seen in a video released by the Army.

According to Indian Intelligence agencies, the Pakistani Army has recruited about 60 war-toughened Afghan fighters who would be pushed across the border to carry out attacks on security forces in Jammu and Kashmir.

The terrorists will be trained in Afghanistan and then received by Pakistani Army in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. The fighters will then, the inputs show, will be transported to launch pads for infiltration in Kashmir to send them across the border in India and Pakistan’s constant ceasefire violations and infiltration attempts since the abrogation of Article 370 has led to the Indian Air Force putting its airbases in and around Jammu and Kashmir on orange alert.

Pakistan has yet again resorted to terror to cause unrest in Kashmir and NSA Doval claimed that the revanchist state has readied about 230 terrorists for infiltration in Kashmir with some of them having already crossed over with explicit orders to cause unrest.

The tweet by Imran Khan can be seen as a desperate attempt to avoid being blacklisted by the FATF with India exercising its diplomatic clout and presenting some hard facts to ensure that Pakistan is blacklisted by the FATF who are slated to convene later this month and such a meek defence is going to be a case of too little too late.
