Def. Min Rajnath Singh’s unique initiative – the true history of Bharat’s borders will be chronicled and retold

History starts with the borders, a job well done Minister

Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister, India's Borders

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh recently approved an important proposal. He has approved the proposal to write the history of India’s borders and if sources are to be believed, work on the same shall be completed within 2 years.

The decision was taken by Rajnath Singh after a meeting with the Indian Council of Historical Research (ICHR), Nehru Memorial Museum, the directorate general of the Indian Archives and important officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of External Affairs.

“It’s proposed that it’ll cover various aspects of borders including tracing its making, making & unmaking & shifting of borders, role of security forces, role of borderland people encompassing their ethnicity, culture & socio-economic aspects. It’s expected to be completed within 2 yrs.” Tweeted the ANI, confirming the same.

Apart from this, it is also said that the main purpose of writing the history of Indian borders is to make the officers and general public acquainted with real history.

To complete this project successfully, Rajnath Singh has also asked the concerned officers to obtain the help of appropriate experts to manage the required source material, action plan, methodology and broad contours to complete the project.

According to the sources associated with the Ministry of Defense, it is a unique project in itself, which will not only make people aware of their national borders but also make them aware of their culture and responsibilities on the borders.

So why should we be aware of this crucial change? This is so because it is not about you or me, but it is a change in itself, which has far-reaching consequences. Forget our borders, we Indians have been alienated from most of our history. We accept the same history as has been handed over to us by left-wing writers and thinkers over the years.

Before the Arabic and Turkish invasions, ‘Bharatvarsha’ or Bharat was a vast nation, whose borders extended from Afghanistan in the west to Bangladesh in the east and Karakoram peaks in the north to Kanyakumari in the south. However, due to continuous attacks and blunders made by the top leadership, today the area of our Bharatvarsha has been reduced considerably.

The situation worsened to the extent that even after partition, due to the immature leadership of PM Jawaharlal Nehru, we lost the western region of Kashmir to Pakistan, which includes Gilgit and Baltistan. Today the Line of Control, i.e. LOC, has been built between the borders of India and Pakistan to identify these areas. But even after that, Pakistan constantly violates these boundaries any given day.

Apart from this, China also took possession of the ‘Aksai Chin’ region situated in the northeast of our Kashmir, and even today they continue to claim Arunachal Pradesh as part of their country. Even though it was badly beaten by our army in 1967 for continuously invading our regions, China still promotes illegal infiltration to capture Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim. LAC i.e. Line of Actual Control has been created to delineate the boundaries of India and China.

In such a situation, the current decision of Rajnath Singh is a welcome change in this direction. Documentation of the history of India’s borders cannot be a joke, especially when the controversial ‘special status’ provisions of Article 370 have been removed from Kashmir recently. Now this decision will give India valuable benefits.

One of the first advantages of this move is that when history is documented, there will be a fair investigation on every aspect, proper maps will be made, and no facts will be suppressed.

This will not only reveal the true boundaries of our country, but our public will also be familiar with the real history of our country. Apart from this, the biggest benefit that will be gained from this decision is that the propaganda which has been run against India for years, which has been presented unfortunately as our history by the leftist history, will be demolished for once and for all.

Also, with the documentation of the history of our borders, the nefarious plans of China and Pakistan shall be smashed without a second thought. The second benefit will be that when our country takes necessary steps to liberate Kashmir under Pakistani occupation, this history of our borders will prepare them for this important mission.

Ever since the special provisions of Article 370 have been removed, there has been a nationwide campaign to reunite Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in India since then. Home Minister Amit Shah himself while approving this proposal has said in the Lok Sabha, “Why should we not be aggressive on PoK? You are talking about being aggressive, we can die for the same!”

Once ill-famed for his ‘Kadi Ninda’, our current Defence Minister Rajnath Singh seems to have turned over a new leaf. After the removal of Article 370, Pakistan was trying to scare us with its usual tricks. At the same time, Rajnath Singh said to everyone with astonishment, “So far the policy regarding our nuclear has been of no first use. But what happens in the future will depend on the situation ”.

Subsequently, Rajnath Singh also tweeted, “Pokhran is the region that saw Atalji’s determination to make India a nuclear power and yet remains committed to the principle of No First Use. India has followed this principle strictly. What happens in the future depends on the circumstances ”.

Now, by approving the documentation of the history of Indian borders, Rajnath Singh has proved how much the present government is committed to the resurgence of India as a global superpower. This will not only make our future generations aware of our actual history but also ensure that the lies of our enemies will not last long.
