The Indian army has refused to stop the retaliation across the LOC until the infiltration stops from Pakistan’s side. The Indian Army has been successful in killing more than 20 Pakistani soldiers in the retaliatory fire after the ceasefire violation carried out by Pakistan. The response to Pakistan by the Indian army has been continuous since the raid by IAF in the Balakot area after the deadly Pulwama attack.
The Indian Army has sent its message and informed the Pakistani army that the retaliation will not stop until Islamabad stops launching its Border Action Team. The statement is also sent in regard to their constant efforts to push terror groups in India. The Indian side has come down hard on the Pakistan Army. It has now deployed its Bofors guns to target the Pakistani posts that have been indulging in ceasefire violations.
The sources said “India has made it absolutely clear that the army retaliated to ceasefire violations and targeted only military positions that were supporting BAT and terror activities”. The sources have also informed that the Pak army is planning to launch many BAT operations. These BAT operations do not only have the regular army soldiers of Pakistan but also include terrorists from the breeding grounds present on that side of the border. These terrorists and soldiers have targeted the Indian soldiers patrolling around the Indian borders. In the past there have been instances where groups like these have known to sever the heads and disfigure the bodies of Indian soldiers.
The India Today reports have disclosed that the ceasefire violations have increased since the Balakot strike. This has also led to an increase in the artillery maintained by the Indian Army to face any situation. The deployment of 105-mm field artillery guns and 52 Bofors calibre guns are a message that the Indian army means serious business. The shelling on the borders is a message loud and clear.
The Army has intensified the operations along the borders and have successfully eliminated 44 terrorists in Kashmir Valley. The Indian Navy has also started its war games. The Navy conducted Theatre Level Operational Readiness Exercise (TROPEX). The exercise includes even the Indian Army and the Indian Airforce.
The Pakistani Army had attacked the civilian area of Poonch on 2nd April. An important report by the ANI disclosed that the 2nd April attack also injured a civilian who is undergoing treatment in a hospital. These casualties in the border area will not be tolerated anymore. A strong message in the form of an even harder retaliation against Pakistan awaits them.
