How a gang of Chinese men is openly indulging in trafficking of Pakistani women

As per Pakistani media reports, it has come to light that a number of Chinese men in Pakistan have openly entered into fake marriages with Pakistani women with the ulterior motive of forcing them into prostitution. Cases of their organs being sold have also been reported. As per a Pakistani news show, it was reported that the Chinese men trap Pakistani women on the pretext of giving them Rs. 40,000/- along with mobile phones and Chinese visas. Moreover, Pakistani journalist also tweeted, “Mafia of humansmuggling dealing in Pakistani girls as young as 13 years exposed by @iqrarulhassan
 
Pakistani & Chinese authorities should crackdown on gangs dealing in such heinous crimes of exploiting women and girls.”

In fact, it has come to light that dozens of Chinese nationals come to Pakistan so that they can entice Pakistani women into fake marriages. Such Chinese nationals use fake certificates claiming they are Muslims. Such Chinese men also take up Islamic names.

This group of Chinese men is particularly active in Punjab. There are even public posters of proposals to marry Chinese men. Such Chinese men are said to trap the parents of young girls and marry them. Girls as young as 13 years old have been trapped with ulterior motives by the Chinese men.

However, the Imran Khan regime in Pakistan does not seem to have taken any stringent action against such Chinese men. This exposes the reality of ‘weak Pakistan’s which is incapable of taking requisite action even in serious cases involving the trafficking of young women in the country of Pakistan. It seems that Pakistan becomes spineless when it comes to taking action against anti-social, Chinese elements.

Pakistani inaction doesn’t come as much of a surprise, the fact remains that Pakistan is on the way to become a Chinese colony provided it has not already become one. Last year, one Amsterdam based think tank had predicted that Pakistan would end up being a colony of China. The European Foundation for South Asian Studies (EFSAS), a think tank based out of Amsterdam, had said in an article that Pakistan faces the danger of being colonized by China. The article further stated that the ‘all weather friend’ of Pakistan is using the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as an instrument to colonise the country just as British used the East India Company to colonize the country.

With the Pakistani economy facing a constantly rising dependency of Pakistan on Chinese debt, it seems that Pakistan is incapable of taking any action against the Chinese nationals even in such serious cases. Pakistan’s women and young girls have to bear the brunt for its government’s failed policies and lack of proper governance.
