Audience shames Congress leader Pawan Khera for insulting PM Modi publicly

Congress leader Pawan Khera on Saturday insulted PM Narendra Modi publicly by accusing him of being pro-terrorist. He also equated PM Modi to the likes of Masood Azhar, Dawood Ibrahim etc.

In a special program titled ‘Vande Mataram’, news channel India TV organised felicitations for the martyrs of the Pulwama attacks, including the martyrs of the Pulwama encounter that neutralised two of the masterminds behind the dastardly attacks on the CRPF convoy, which martyred more than 45 of our CRPF personnel.

However, before that, a debate was organized on the issue of national security, for which BJP spokesperson Dr. Sambit Patra and Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera were invited on stage. During one such discussion, Pawan spoke harshly of PM Modi with respect to the Pulwama attacks as he mentioned, “…The country has the right to know the business interests of the son of the NSA. He is the real Jaichand. Let me tell you the full form of MODI – M for Masood Azhar, O for Osama bin Laden, D for Dawood Ibrahim and I for ISI. He continues to hide behind them. The nation demands an answer.”

Of all things, Pawan Khera has accused PM Modi of hiding behind terrorists by comparing him to the likes of Masood Azhar, Osama bin Laden etc. However, we forget that Pawan Khera is the same man who alleged that PM Modi uses diamond facials worth 8 lakhs and eats imported mushrooms worth Rs. 80000 per month for fair skin. If there was a limit to nonsense, Pawan Khera just breached that limit.

Sambit Patra slammed Pawan Khera for his atrocious statements. To quote him, “I’ll tell you who is Jaichand later, but on a serious note, Modi is our PM. What full form has been given? Is this the way to talk about our PM? PM Modi is Osama? PM Modi is Masood Azhar? PM Modi is Dawood Ibrahim?”

Patra further exhorted the audience to denounce the statement. The audience responded by standing up and shouted “Shame Shame!” against Pawan Khera. However, Pawan Khera did not relent and refused to apologize for his shamelessness.

This is not the first time that Congress has had to face backlash for such statements. Just recently, the official Twitter handle of Congress tweeted a video, mocking PM Modi for China’s refusal to blacklist Masood Azhar. They used all kinds of derogatory words for him, following which actor Ranganathan Madhavan and famous filmmaker Shekhar Kapur schooled them brutally for insulting a Prime Minister in such a manner. It seems that Congress has learnt nothing from their drubbing in 2014, and wishes to fall further than that.
