In a major development, Pakistan rail minister has finally admitted that the IAF had successfully destroyed Jaish e Mohammed terror camps in its February 26 airstrikes. Till now, Pakistan had been claiming that it had not suffered any damage in the airstrikes carried out by India. However, now that Pakistan’s rail minister, Sheikh Rashid has made this statement, the lies of Pakistan government and military have been absolutely exposed.
The minister admitted that the 14 IAF fighter jets had entered the Pakistani airspace and caused destruction to madrasas run by “Azhar Sahab” (he was referring to the chief of terror organisation, Jaish e Mohammed) while addressing a joint session of the Pakistani parliament. This statement by the Pakistani minister has come in the Parliament and therefore, it ought to be treated as the real version of the ferocious airstrikes by India. Till now, the Pakistani army and government had been trying to claim that the payloads dropped by the IAF were misdirected and had failed to make any substantial damage to Pakistani terror camps. Pakistan had claimed that only one person was injured after the airstrikes carried out by the Indian Air Force.
Yesterday, in a press conference, the IAF had already made it clear that the airstrikes on the Jaish-e-Mohammed’s terror training camps in Balakot, Pakistan were successful and were able to hit the intended targets. Air Vice Marshal, RGK Kapoor also said that there was credible evidence to show that the strikes were successful and that the desired result was produced. He added that it was up to the political leadership to decide upon the question of releasing the evidence of the airstrikes’ success.
Till now, Pakistan had tried its best to avoid embarrassment and had been claiming that though the IAF was successful in violating its airspace, the PAF had responded promptly and the IAF jets were dragged back. Pakistan had also refused to admit that considerable damage had been caused by the airstrikes and the terrorist country had also claimed that the IAF had dropped payloads off target in haste. The fact remains that the Indian Air Force (IAF) carried out the lethal bombing in Balakot which is located 50 kilometres inside the Line of Control (LoC) in the Pakistani territory. This basically means that the IAF was not only able to cross the LoC and effectively get through Pakistan’s air defence system but also go deep into Pakistan territory and unleash hell on their terror outfits. Pakistan was taken by surprise and was not able to intercept the Indian fighter jets. It seems that the Pakistani air defence system is good for nothing.
Therefore, it does not come as a surprise that Pakistan was deeply embarrassed by the IAF’s onslaught and was naturally in the denial mode. However, the Pakistan rail minister has revealed Pakistan’s incompetence in a single statement. The Madrasas of “Azhar Sahab” that he is referring to are actually the terror training camps of the Jaish e Mohammed which were raised to ground by the IAF fighter jets.
