Twitter’s selective suspension of accounts shows that it isn’t doxxing when the Left does it

Right Wing, Twitter India

According to a tweet by Twitter India, making personal information public is ground for suspension on twitter now. The famous handle Squint Neon was suspended on this ground. However Twitter India seems to be becoming a blatant mouthpiece of the liberal cabal.

Barely few weeks ago, some anonymous twitter handles of the Right Wing (RW) were doxxed by Alt news founder Pratik Sinha and Mohammed Zubair. Alt News shared their picture, their work details, names and other info. As a result of this, these people are incessantly targeted, harassed, abused and even receive death threats. The liberal eco-system cheered this ‘initiative’ of doxxing.  Shockingly, Twitter, instead of taking action against those who were peddling the information, blocked the accounts of those who were targeted including Squint Neon.

In a recent turn of events, a flag bearer of the ‘save the democracy’ gang, Barkha Dutt, has shared many numbers, names, personal details and other information of people and accused them of targeting her. Isn’t that a violation of privacy? It clearly goes against twitter rules but instead of taking the tweets down and penalizing Barkha Dutt, twitter is pussyfooting and reminding everybody of the ‘rules’.

The suspension of Squint Neon doesn’t go well with the followers and many of them exposed the hypocrisy of Twitter India in the wake of this act. It seems that left leaning ‘intellectuals’ have taken over twitter and now blocking the authentic and veracious source of information like Squint Neon for exposing pseudo journalists and propaganda peddlers. In a bid to rattle Right Wing narrative and influence elections in favour of left and the Congress, Twitter India is doing whatsoever it can.

The whole incident started when the liberal mouthpiece, Rohini Singh peddled propaganda against the Indian Army. Squint Neon addressed this matter and in a tweet, lashed out against the ‘epitome of hypocrisy’ and wrote, “Scroll and Rohini Singh started propaganda justifying that the Indian Army is a bunch of rapists who deserve to die and someone wanting to bomb Modi & kill army men are just criticisms by citizen”.

Afterwards, Rohini Singh threatened the Squint Neon for legal action against it, followed by a ban on the RW handle.

Earlier, Mohammed Zubair, fact checker of leftist propaganda website Alt news, was caught spreading fake news through a morphed video in order to incite violence and create communal tension. He shared a video claiming, “VHP Nationalists seen raising Anti National slogans ‘Hindustan Murdabad’.” The video shared by him is morphed and it was declared as fake by Gonda police. The VHP activists were protesting against the Pulwama terrorist attack. The police clarified that no anti-national slogans were raised and also rubbished the video posted by Zubair as misleading and fake.

The question that arises here is; whether twitter rules are different for RW handles. Is this rule specific to targeting RW handles? These instances exposed the hypocrisy of Twitter India and its prejudice against the Right Wing narrative.
