The Times of India carries insidious headline over attack on CRPF convoy

Times Of India, Terrorist

(PC: TOI)

In what exposes the anti-national attitude and propaganda perpetrated by the Lutyens’ mainstream media yet again, one of India’s most popular dailies, The Times of India, has carried an insidious headline about the dastardly terrorist attack on a CRPF convoy in Pulwama yesterday. The insensitive, anti-natioal headline reads, “Govt. blames Pak after local youth rams CRPF convoy with IED-packed SUV in worst-ever J & K terror strike”. This is shameful at just so many levels and exposes the pathetic mindset of such news traders who indulge in horribly shoddy reporting.

The journalist who drafted this headline seems to be misleading the reader by putting special emphasis on the fact that he was a local youth instead of saying he was absorbed in filthy terrorist activities for Pakistan. The headline seems to insidiously and treacherously promote the make-believe idea of dissatisfied and misguided youths attacking the security forces in Kashmir. Make no mistake, there is a lot of difference between a terrorist and a regular Kashmiri “local youth”. The religiously indoctrinated suicide bomber who carried out the attack on the CRPF convoy was a terrorist and not the usual “local youth”. The report is not only a shameless attempt at misleading the nation about the credentials of the terrorist who carried out this attack, but also tries to somehow exonerate Pakistan for carrying out this dastardly attack or at least dilute the idea of Pakistan’s direct involvement.

One wonders what the journalist who reported this event actually meant when he stated, “Govt blames Pakistan”. Does he mean that India is blaming Pakistan but its not clear if Pakistan actually carried it out? It is not known to everyone that Pakistan is directly involved in all such dastardly attacks carried out within the valley? Pakistan was surely involved in this attack as well. In fact, this heinous attack was carried out by Jaish-e-Mohammed, a Pakistan based and controlled terror outfit. Then why did the Times of India carry out such a misleading headline about this attack.

It is indeed shameful that the Times of India carried out such a misleading headline about this issue. It is an absolute insult to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives fighting terror on Indian soil. They were fighting a proxy war initiated by Pakistan through terrorists bred and active on the Indian soil. They were not fighting local youths. However, it seems that the news traders active in India don’t even care about the souls of those who were martyred in this fight against terrorism. This headline by Times of India has set very low standards of reporting and journalism. No word can be strong enough to match the insidious character of this headline.
