The so-called liberal saint, Swami Agnivesh is back to his old tricks. Now, of all things, Agnivesh declares that Pakistan was not involved in the Pulwama attack and that India should provide evidence for the same.
To quote Swami Agnivesh, as reported to Zee News, “We should blame Pakistan only after having strong evidences against them. Pakistan has already condemned the attack. Had they not condemned it, we could have blame them.”
Agnivesh, is not, however, the only individual to have attempted to whitewash Pakistan for their involvement in the Pulwama attack. Quite recently, Navjot Singh Sidhu faced huge flak when he proclaimed that terror has ‘no religion or nation’. He was thoroughly criticized when he paid a visit to the Punjab Legislative Assembly and hugged Pakistan Amry chief General Bajwa.
Apart from Sidhu, even Mamata Banerjee and Akhilesh Yadav tried to deny the involvement of Pakistan in these attacks, counter-attacking the NDA government and suspecting their involvement in the same.
We’re not unaware of the theatrics that the so-called ‘Swami’ Agnivesh has resorted to time and again. Be it mocking the Sanatan customs, or denying the Kashmiri Pandits their due rights by siding with the nefarious separatists, there is nothing that this conman of a spiritual leader hasn’t done.
However, the current statements that this person has made in the wake of Pulwama attack is a new low even by his own standards. To think that someone can stoop this low in order to gain a few seconds of fame is disgusting to even think about. But that is Swami Agnivesh for you.
It isn’t that this person wasn’t taken to task for his antics. During one of his staged protests in Jharkhand, the locals had had enough of his rants and whacked him black and blue for the same. Even though the left liberals cried hoarse, trying to blame BJP and RSS for the same, it didn’t change the feelings most of the Indians have now grown for this man. As if Barkha Dutt’s current antics aren’t enough to annoy us.
To be honest, it is rather time that people like Swami Agnivesh are taken to task for their absurd rants, and are dealt a hard lesson. Of course, it shouldn’t go as extreme as what this vicious left liberal conman received in Jharkhand, but he shouldn’t be allowed to get away for his current statements either.
