“Vote for Congress, even if their candidate is from Pakistan,” says Congress’ sycophant ally

In what can be termed as bizarre and utterly disturbing, Mahan Dal chief Keshav Dev Maurya urges the voters of Uttar Pradesh to vote for ally Congress’ candidate even if he is ‘from Pakistan’. Speaking at a rally in Moradabad, UP, Maurya stated to vote for haath (symbol of Congress party) and not to bother about the candidate. Shockingly, senior Congress leaders including Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee chief Raj Babbar, Rashid Alvi and Naseemuddin Siddiqui were also present there.

“Pratyashi mat dekhna, haath ka panja (Congress’ election symbol) dekh lena, usi pe vote de dena, pratyashi koi bhi ho, accha ho, kharab ho, Pakistan se bhi aake lade, Mahan Dal ko koi aitraaz nahi hoga (Don’t look at the candidate. Just take note of the hand symbol and vote for it. Let the candidate be a bad guy or even a Pakistani coming to contest elections. Mahan Dal will not have a problem),” Keshav Dev Maurya said.

Ironically, in the same speech, Maurya condemned the Pulwama attack. Earlier, launched in the year 2008 by Maurya, Mahan Dal reportedly enjoys the support of Other Backward Castes (OBC) section of Uttar Pradesh. Notably, Mahan Dal had been an ally of the Grand Old party since a long time, with both of them contesting the Assembly elections in 2012 and afterwards the Lok Sabha polls of 2014 together. According to the reports, Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party had also held talks with Keshav Dev Maurya in the run-up to the UP Assembly elections in 2017.

However, there are various evidences that suggest that Congress party has been in contact with Pakistanis. Exposing the Pakistani connection of Congress, BJP spokesperson, Suresh Nakhua stated that Rahul Gandhi has appointed Hasiba Amin as national Social Media convener of the Congress who has initiated the formation of a shady WhatsApp group called “India Political Network”. The WhatsApp group includes various Pakistanis with a few of them being admins too. Interestingly, Hasiba Amin is the same girl who featured in the ‘Kattar Soch Nahi, Yuva Josh’ ad of the Congress party. And now Ms. Amin has rightly used her ‘Yuva Josh’ and expanding the wings of the Grand Old Party in Pakistan as well.

In the notorious WhatsApp group there are various contacts whose numbers have the ISD code “+92” which belong to our ‘beloved neighbor’ Pakistan. Here are a few of the contacts in the list.

The network of these nefarious intended people has a pan India reach and includes anti-Indian elements from Arunanchal Pradesh as well. Exposing this, Suresh Nakhua, in his tweet, wrote, “Other members of the group are official post holders of Congress like Ms Kim, Mr Bem, Mr Sunil, Mr Felaro, Mr Pranav, Mr Toshit etc”.

Earlier, in a panel discussion on Samaa TV, a Pakistan based news channel, a panelist claimed that Congress party will secure victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha election. The Pakistani panelist on Samaa TV was spitting venom against India throughout the interview, criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi but interestingly wished for the victory of Grand Old party in the upcoming Lok Sabha election.

It is evident that Congress Party has a number of well-wishers in Pakistan and the allies of the Grand Old party too are aware of it. This is the dilemma of the congress party allies, to be disloyal to the party or to the country. The choice between the devil and the deep blue sea is indeed apt here and few are courageous enough to choose wisely.
