Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal who has been facing waning popularity in Delhi due to his incompetence and a barrage of unfulfilled poll promises resorted to passing cheap, senseless, absurd and controversial statements yet again in order to gain media attention. This time he stooped down to a new low. Arvind Kejriwal called PM Modi the PM of Pakistan.
Addressing the crowd at the day-long hunger strike conducted by Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu, Kejriwal attacked PM Modi over the alleged discrimination of the state being ruled by governments of opposition parties. Arvind Kejriwal said, “One may have voted for any party but after elections, whoever wins and becomes the CM, is the CM of the entire state and not of a particular party. Similarly, when one becomes the PM, then he is the PM of the entire country, not just one party. The way PM Modi treats governments from opposition parties in states, he behaves like he is not the PM of India but the PM of Pakistan.”
This derogatory remark is coming from a leader who had asked the BJP led central government to show him proof for the strikes that actually took place. Mr. Honesty, Arvind kejriwal, strongly believes that his approval is important for any activity to take place. Probably he was surprised as how he, the CM of Delhi, was not taken into confidence before the surgical strikes were conducted. His stupidity drew flak from common people as well as BJP leaders who attacked him on social media and other platforms.
A guy like Arvind Kejriwal who had stayed in the house of former chief of Khalistan Liberation Front (KLF) – Gurwinder Singh- is called PM Modi as the Prime Minister of Pakistan. Gurwinder Singh is accused of inciting communal riots during the years when terrorism was at its peak in Punjab. He was even jailed for committing murder and many other heinous crimes. Entire Khalistan movement is sponsored by Pakistan.
In the run-up to the Punjab state assembly elections, during rallies of AAP in the state, attended by MP Bhagwant Mann and Punjab Affairs-in charge, Sanjay Singh frequently featured portraits of Jarnail Singh Bhindrawale.
Earlier, also Kejriwal has disrespected PM Modi in the same derogatory language. Last month, at West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s anti-Modi mega rally that was held in Kolkata at Brigade Parade Grounds, Kejriwal had said, “I am ashamed that our Prime Minister follows those people on social media who use cuss words on social media against women. What Pakistan could not do in 70 years, Modi and Amit Shah have done in five years…they have divided our country.” He also said, “It was Pakistan’s dream to split this country into pieces. This BJP government is going ahead in that direction by creating enmity among people and dividing the nation on the lines of religion, language.”
Only Kejriwal can stoop so low. In order to attack his political rival, he can go to any extent. With every passing day, he is touching new lows in the politics of abuse and character assassination. With his derogatory comments, Kejriwal has not only insulted PM Modi but also the mandate of the people who voted him to power. Kejriwal neither respects the PM nor the people’s mandate. And by calling PM Modi the PM of Pakistan, he has insulted the entire country.
