As expected, the left-liberal intelligentsia in India is back to their old tricks. After failing to raise any buzz for their propaganda on the ‘harassment’ of Kashmiri students following the Pulwama attack, journalists like Barkha Dutt and Abhisar Sharma are now resorting to extremely absurd allegations of people allegedly cyberstalking them and sending them abusive tweets and vulgar pics.
Quite recently, Barkha Dutt accused the ‘nationalists’ of cyberstalking her on Twitter after the Pulwama attack, appealing to the Delhi police. She posted the picture of a man’s private parts and accused the nationalists of backing the same, as follows:-
I had close to 1000 abusive messages and calls in a Cordinated and violent mob attack. These included a message to shoot me, a nude photo, many sexually abusive messages. I outed the men who did this. Twitter locked me till many of the details were taken down. I wroe this to them pic.twitter.com/XRyx9xbjcV

If that wasn’t enough, despite the immense criticism garnered by Barkha for her absurd tweets, journalist Abhisar Sharma also posted his rants on the same, craftily changing the narrative of Pulwama attack to that of ‘intolerance’ against his brand of journalists, as shown below:-
I raise my voice against burying voices who question the intelligence failure in Pulwama by the ruling party BJP. I raise my voice for felow journos @sardesairajdeep @BDUTT @ravishndtv and shaurya chakr winner @dpkpillay12 who are abused for talking sensehttps://t.co/KJlI2Tv04F

Now, to the surprise of one and all, the journalist associations have started backing these white lies without any hesitation. Recently, the Indian Women’s Press Corps, Press Club of India and Press Association issued a joint statement against the ‘heckling’ of such journalists.
If being a shameless hypocrite was a sport at the Olympics, our left-liberal journalists would’ve won it hands down. None of them issued any statement when Smita Prakash, the ANI journalist who interviewed PM Modi, was branded ‘pliable’ by Congress President Rahul Gandhi.
Not one journalist condemned the incessant attacks on journalist Sudhir Chaudhary when he covered the Dhulagarh riots in Bengal in late 2016. Not one statement was issued by the journalist associations in the support of the journalists from Republic TV and ABP News when they were heckled by the students of AMU for covering the sedition incident. These journalists even stayed silent on something as awful as the heckling of a female journalist from Republic by the goons from Samajwadi Party. But when it came to endorsing the lies of certified liars like Barkha Dutt and Abhisar Sharma, the very journalists are now awake and raring to go. How progressive of them.
However, this is not entirely surprising, since such journalist associations find their voice only when a person of their own clique is attacked. During the MeToo movement, these very journalists openly backed people like Vinod Dua and pulled out all stops to declare him innocent even when evidence suggested otherwise. As such, we only feel pity for these left-liberal journalists, who can only afford to make a living by peddling lies day and night. The only question that remains is: For how long?
