Imran Khan’s speech has striking resemblance with left-liberal cabal reaction on Pulwama attack

A rattled Pakistan PM Imran Khan finally reacted to the Pulwama terror attack. In his incoherent and senseless speech, the Pakistan Prime Minister gave bizarre excuses to exonerate Pakistan of the dastardly terror attack and shifted the blame on India instead.

Imran Khan said, “Pakistan ko isse kya faayda hai? Kyu Pakistan karega iss stage ke upar jab Pakistan stability ki taraf ja raha hai? (How could have Pakistan benefitted out of this terror attack? Why Pakistan would carry out such an attack when it is on the path of stability?).” It is clear that Imran Khan tried hard to find excuses even as the terrorist country is facing severe criticism for its dastardly acts.

As far as the reason for carrying out the terror attack is concerned, it is clear that Pakistan always had the mala fide intention of destabilising India and that is why it has repeatedly exported terrorism into India. And what stability is Imran Khan talking about; Pakistan is quickly becoming a beggar state and fighting hard to sustain itself.

However, a striking feature of his speech was its uncanny similarity to the rhetoric which is usually attributable to the left-liberal cabal within India. Imran Khan stressed upon holding dialogue in order to bring down tensions between the two countries and dishonestly pushed the narrative that war helps no one. This bears an uncanny similarity with the narrative that the liberal brigade within India usually tries to push.

Imran Khan also said, “I know it’s a poll season in India. If India will attack us we will surely retaliate. It is easy to start a war but difficult to end. The issue should be solved through dialogue.” It is important to mention here that certain anti-India elements within our country have also been trying to suggest that the Pulwama terror attack must be viewed keeping the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in mind. Imran Khan also resorted to a similar view. Certain “intellectual” elements within India have also suggested that India should not give a befitting reply to Pakistan and should introspect at this juncture. It doesn’t come as much of a surprise that Imran Khan raised this lame argument as well. He pleaded that India should not point fingers on Pakistan and even asked India to introspect.

Imran Khan also gave hollow threats to India in his speech. In a direct reference to PM Modi, Khan said, “If you think you will attack us and we will not think of retaliating, we will retaliate.” It must be kept in mind that PM Modi spoke time and again after the dastardly terror attack on the CRPF convoy in Pulwama and has made it clear that India will avenge the dastardly terror attack. Khan is trying to somehow save the terror outfits that Pakistan is harbouring from India’s fury. However, no matter what he says, this time around India and its citizenry have made up its mind of not holding back. Pakistan will have to pay heavily for its misdeeds.

The left-liberal cabal has always been a fan of the Pakistan Prime Minister. Imran Khan was projected as some sort of a gamechanger by many of the pseudo-liberals within India despite his being a puppet of the Pakistan Army. Now, it does not come as a surprise that the liberal brigade and Pakistan PM seem to be pursuing an identical agenda.
