CRPF DIG slams The Caravan for its divisive article on martyrs

In a fitting reply to the Caravan Magazine over caste wise representation of martyrs in Pulwama attack, Moses Dhinakaran, Deputy Inspector General of the CRPF stated that in CRPF everyone is identified as Indian. Lashing out against the atrocious act, Dhinakaran said, “This pathetic divisiveness of caste, color, and religion doesn’t exist in our blood. You should strictly refrain from insulting all the martyrs. They are not statistics for your demeaning and meaningless write-up”.

Earlier, in an utterly shameful manner, The Caravan Magazine, a left-liberal mouthpiece, called up families of Pulwama martyrs to find out their castes and wrote a bigoted article giving a caste angle to the whole incident. The whole article is nothing but propaganda against the upper castes and moreover with the national integrity of India.

In an atrocious attack on the unity of Armed Forces, the article mentioned, “Underlying the feverish display of nationalism by the urban middle-class, comprised predominantly of upper-caste Indians, is an irony that few have paid attention to—the lower-caste poor account for most of the deaths”. However, while writing the article, the author forgot that the condolences and sympathy for the soldiers are coming from every section of society. Although he made a lot of effort in calling the family of martyrs and hurting them at the time of utter grief, he didn’t bother to come out of his AC cabin and roaming around in the slums of India. The loudest sound of nationalism comes from there.

In what can be called as a depraved and dogmatic way, The Caravan article, one by one, explained about the caste and community of each soldier and then somehow linked the Bharatiya Janata Party to it. The article claimed that BJP resorts to hyper-nationalism; however, it seems that the author was in a mode of “hyper imagination”. Moreover, the whole article seems like a fruitful use of ‘creative liberty’ and the last para of the article is beyond the reach of even the author’s imagination. In concluding lines of the article, it took a south turn and urged the NDA government to give the details of the caste identity of the martyrs. “The BJP has not spoken of the caste and class dimensions of those jawans who died in Pulwama. It is unlikely to do so—the party prefers to orchestrate the song of nationalism in the election year,” demanded The Caravan, in the article.

Not to forget that these epitomes of hypocrisy, masquerade as journalists are agents of the Congress party, who spit venom whenever being directed by their handlers. The attack on Hinduism and nationalism is what these elites have resorted to, in order to remain relevant. On one hand, these goons hesitate to portray the suicide bomber as a religious extremist and on other hand come out all guns blazing against CRPF martyrs in the heinous attack and reduce them in terms of their caste identity.
