On Wednesday, the news surfaced that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Amit Shah has been diagnosed with Swine Flu and is admitted in AIIMS. While on social media most people expressed concerns for his health, some in media belonging to the left-liberal cabal, showed their nauseating inhumane side. This sad news came as music to the ears of left-liberal media. The Social Media head of The Quint, Stuti Mishra, posted an insensitive tweet. While Amit Shah is undergoing treatment AIIMS, The Quint employee insensitively desired to confirm “People die of Swine Flu, right?”

Similarly, NDTV journalist Sunetra Choudhury posted a glib tweet.

So much partisan malice under that "Liberal",English speaking veneer.Cry journalism! pic.twitter.com/e8rjcnGJe5— Smita Barooah (@smitabarooah) January 16, 2019

The Quint authored a very diplomatic response over the insensitivity of its employee. It said, “An insensitive tweet by Stuti Mishra, an employee of The Quint has been brought to our notice. The Quint strongly condemns any such statement. Due action will be taken. The entire Quint team wishes BJP President, Shri Amit Shah, a speedy recovery.”

If The Quint takes even a small action against its callous employee then it would be a very big thing going by the digital media outlet’s standard. It would not be a surprising thing if they end up giving promotion to its cold-hearted employee. If they are really serious about its apology then it should share her termination letter otherwise people will think that the news portal is just playing good cop bad cop on social media.
The Quint, its employees, and its contributing writers are habitual offenders. Earlier a contributing writer with The Quint, Suprateek Chatterjee, tweeted a death wish to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Many articles in The Quint have authored by people who embrace the hate-mongering ideology of Suprateek Chatterjee and Stutee Mishra.

The worst thing was liberals were supporting him when The Quint under pressure ended its relation with Suprateek Chatterjee only when a huge controversy erupted after his tweets filled with hatred surfaced on social media.

Liberals are coming out in support of Suprateek Chatterjee for wishing death of NaMo but want Rightwingers fired for tweets they dont like.

Wishing for someone death is a new low, the employers try to escape the responsibility by putting all the blame on the shoulders of the employees which is not going to help the case. The working environment of the organization is what encourages insensitive and callous employees to come up with a disgusting thing like- wishing for someone’s death, after all, employees work as per the instructions and directions of the employers. Any insensitive and uncivilized comment of any journalist on social media shows the mentality of the organization also in which s/he is working. However, the irony is that these left-liberal organizations who hire hate-mongers masquerading as journalists are the very same organization that gives sermons on journalistic ethics and constantly complain about falling political discourse. Their employees have been consistently uncivilized, charlatans, crass, inhumane, uncouth, crude and a blot on the humanity.
