Actress-cum-activist Swara Bhasker, notorious for her illogical tweets and vicious leftist propaganda, has once again hogged the limelight for her recent tweet. Today, the nation remembers Mahatma Gandhi on his 71st death anniversary but Swara Bhaskar in a hurry to target the Hindu community used the hashtag #gandhijayanti on Twitter and invited all sorts of mockery from the Twitterati. When the entire nation offers gratitude to the father of the nation, Swara Bhasker indulged in total ignorance of the occasion and landed herself in trouble just because of her pursuit to blame a particular community for Mahatma’s assassination.
When caught, the actress deleted the tweet instead of apologizing for her mistake.
@ReallySwara deleted the tweet.

It is not for the first time that Bhasker has found herself in such a situation. Earlier, in one of the instances, Bhasker justified the beating of a Hindu boy by a Muslim mob. A proud flag-bearer to the shameless anti-Hindu laboratory that our elite Bollywood is, Swara Bhasker is one of its well notorious members when it comes to reacting or reporting about communal violence.
The Bollywood actress has maintained sheer hypocrisy on many issues and reacts on selective ones which suit her. Swara Bhasker, who seemingly led from the front in voicing her dissent against patriarchy, from the Kathua case to her recent support for Tanushree Dutta, chose to stay silent on the AIB controversy.
The actress vociferously supported the infamous #NotinMyName campaign and/or the Kathua rape case, where at the drop of the hat, she, along with other elite Bollywood personalities like Sonam Kapoor, Aahana Kumra, Huma Qureshi, Kareena Kapoor Khan, demonized an entire community for this case, even when serious investigations proved that this might not be the case at all. We can’t forget the way she mocked those fighting for justice to ex-Navy commander Kulbhushan Jadhav, who is at present wrongfully incarcerated in Pakistan.
With this tweet on Mahatma Gandhi, Swara Bhasker has ultimately proved that she is, without doubt, an archaic, shameless anti-Hindu provocateur, who in a bid to build her own image as a crusader of liberals’ cause won’t refrain from spreading Hindu/Santaniphobia as much as possible. The tweet has exposed how ‘informed’ and ‘aware’ the actress is about her own country and the nation’s leaders like Mahatma Gandhi. By getting the sense about the level of knowledge and understanding she possesses, one can be sure that neither audience nor social media users are going to give any heed to whatever Swara Bhaskar comes up with in the days to come.
