Remember Mallika Dua? The ultra-feminist comedienne from the now-defunct AIB is back into action. In a bid to corner Barkha Dutt, not only did she expose her hypocrisy on Me Too, but also defended her father shamelessly, despite the fact that most of the evidences stand clearly against him.
It all began with a tweet by left-liberal journalist Barkha Dutt, who posted a cryptic tweet condemning the attack on Smita Prakash by Rahul Gandhi:-

It was then that Mallika Dua posted a tweet in reply to her:-

Not only she condemned Barkha Dutt, but also she accused her of hypocrisy in dealing with the case of her father. According to her tweet, Barkha and the NDTV didn’t come to the rescue of her father when he was accused of the offence of sexual harassment against freelance journalist Nishtha Jain.

Mallika Dua not only has the audacity to support her accused father, but she would also take no word against him, dismissing every dissent as a troll or IT Cell approved. The way Mallika Dua has responded to Appu Pandey, who called her out for defending her accused father while ranting on atrocities against women reeks of sheer shamelessness that only left liberals like her are expert at.
Also, in one of her replies, Mallika retorted that her father was proud to report before a standing committee, and not random opportunists. Is she terming the farce of a committee put up by the tainted left liberal mouthpiece The Wire as a valid one?
Is she labeling that committee valid, which did not even give enough time to the victim to prove her case, while freely allowing Vinod Dua to continue with his job, and even allow him to go unscathed? If yes, this is extremely atrocious and horrible, though not entirely surprising.
This is not the first time that Mallika Dua has resorted to such brazen hypocrisy while defending her father in the case. While she had no qualms in mocking accused like Chetan Bhagat and Alok Nath, where she even went to the extent of abusing the latter, she thoroughly defended her own colleagues from AIB as well as her own father, when they were accused of the same. Do we need to remind you of your words for the entire Sanatan community during the Kathua case, Miss Dua?
To be honest, it is good to know that at least Mallika Dua is this honest enough to defend her father, even if he is accused of a crime as disgusting as sexual harassment. Otherwise, we also know some people from politics, who won’t even lift a finger, when their kiths and kin indulge in such brutal crimes. We hope that justice is delivered soon to Nishtha Jain, and suggest Mallika Dua to learn a thing or two from Farah Khan, who didn’t refrain from condemning her own brother Sajid when he was accused of the same.
