It looks like Pakistan is in no mood of ending the standoff between itself and India. In their latest act, not only did they mock India’s presence in Afghanistan but also issued a written order for the extension of ‘fundamental rights’ in the illegally occupied region of Gilgit Baltistan, situated in Pakistan occupied Kashmir, as issued by the Pakistan Supreme Court.
To begin with, ever since the USA officially withdrew their support from Pakistan in both letter and spirit, the Islamic Republic is officially reduced to just a laughing stock for the entire world. With zero to negligible assistance from most of their former allies, who are now aware of their nefarious plans, the Islamic Republic is now back to what it is best at: shoot and scoot politics.
In a recent statement issued by Mohammad Faisal, spokesperson of Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry, the notorious nation mocked India’s presence while responding to the question of India’s presence of Afghanistan, as stated by USA President Donald Trump. To quote the press statement, “India has no role in stabilising and supporting Afghanistan’s efforts towards a peace and reconciliation process that is led, owned, and controlled by Kabul.”
This has come after Sushma Swaraj met the US special envoy to Afghanistan, Zalmay Khalilzad, along with other diplomats from Central Asia, with respect to giving more assistance to Afghanistan, as posted in the tweet below. As is the barb wasn’t enough, the Supreme Court of Pakistan issued a written order that talked of extending their ‘fundamental rights’ to the ‘so-called region of Gilgit Baltistan’.

However, the Indian diplomats did not take this lying down. Raveesh Kumar, the official spokesperson for the Indian Ministry of External Affairs took on the barbs head on, as he issued the following statement:-
“It is not for Pakistan to decide as to what role another country has in regional or global affairs. Pakistan also cannot decide on behalf of an independent and sovereign country Afghanistan and dictate them as to how to conduct their foreign policy.”
Raveesh further added, “Pakistan should first and foremost introspect its own role and responsibility in the precarious situation in Afghanistan; put an end to all kind of support to cross border terrorism from territories under Pakistan’s control, and join international efforts to bring inclusive peace to Afghanistan.”
Raveesh isn’t far from the truth either. The Islamic Republic must refrain from supporting the cross border terrorism against India from its own soil and should join the international community to bring peace in the region. Pakistan asking India to refrain from intervening in Afghanistan is like the pot calling the kettle black.
Moreover, the Ministry of External Affairs reiterated its commitment to liberate POK from Pakistani rule, as it issued the following press statement:-
“Pakistan judiciary or government has no locus standi on territories illegally and forcibly occupied by it. Any action to alter the status of these occupied territories by Pakistan has no legal basis whatsoever.”
MEA spokesperson further added, “India rejected such continued attempts by Pakistan to bring material change in these occupied territories and to camouflage grave human rights violations, exploitations and sufferings of the people living there. Pakistan was asked to immediately vacate all areas under its illegal occupation.”
To be honest, it is rather a time that India takes affirmative action against the nefarious forces of Pakistan. Courtesy the dastardly murders of three BSF officials by Pakistani snipers, it doesn’t look like Pakistan knows any other language than that of punitive action, it is necessary that India goes on the offensive in order to send a tough message to the world: Nothing at the cost of our nation.
