After restoring the faith in the judiciary with the conviction of the guilty people in connection with the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, Delhi High Court is back in action. This time, they rejected a ridiculous request from a Delhi based fashion designer to ban the trailer of the movie, ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’.

Recently, a Delhi based fashion designer demanded to have the trailer of the movie ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ banned. She filed a petition in the Delhi High Court for the same, citing the violation of the privacy of the personalities mentioned in the movie.

The petitioner alleged that the film’s producers have not taken any consent from Manmohan Singh, Congress President Rahul Gandhi and his mother Sonia Gandhi to perform their characters or perform their political life or to dress up in the same way as they had been doing in their normal life or copy their voice in any manner.

As per Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) guidelines on films based on real-life characters, a ‘no objection certificate (NOC)’ is required, but for the trailer, no such NOC was obtained”, the petitioner further added.

For those unaware, the movie ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ is based on the book by the same name. Directed by Vijay Ratnakar Gutte, and starring Anupam Kher, Akshaye Khanna, Suzanne Bernert etc. in principal roles, this movie covers the ten years of UPA role and the internal politics that wrote the destiny of the nation.

Owing to its bold coverage, as well as the promise of unapologetic content has invoked a massive interest amongst the viewers, making the trailer viral on social media. Despite all efforts by the left-liberal ecosystem to downgrade this project, the trailer is a going very strong even after more than a week, garnering more than 59 million views and counting.

As such, the trailer has invoked the ire of the entire left-liberal intelligentsia for daring to point a finger at their masters. From sending threats of vandalizing the theatres, to filing cases against the crew, there’s nothing that the sycophants haven’t done in order to please their masters. The ridiculous petition to ban the trailer was another addition to the infinite list of the efforts made by people with vested interests in order to censure the movie.

However, Delhi High Court observed that the petitioner has no personal interest whatsoever in the matter, following which they rejected the plea.

To be honest, the left liberals are absolutely horrified by the potential of the movie ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’. Unlike ‘Indu Sarkar‘, this movie doesn’t hesitate from tackling the targets head-on, having the courage to call them by their real names, and this is what the opposition actually fears.

According to them, if this movie succeeds, their entire gameplan to fool the masses before 2019 elections would fall flat in one stroke. No wonder why the entire ecosystem is pulling out all stops to make sure that the movie doesn’t see the light of the day. However, this time, they’ve failed miserably, thanks to the wisdom of the Delhi High Court bench.
