Earlier this month, China had claimed that it landed a rover on the far side of Moon. China Central Television had reported that China’s National Space Administration landed the rover in the South Pole-Aitken Basin, the Moon’s largest and oldest impact crater. According to the general designer of the probe Chang’e 4, Sun Zezhou, the spacecraft made its final descent from an elliptical orbit 15 kilometers (9.3 miles) above the Moon’s surface, making a “smooth” and “precise” landing. He added that the spacecraft pulled off a “bull’s-eye.”
This was hailed as a landmark achievement in the history of human space exploration. Chief designer for the mission, Wu Weiren, told China Central Television, “China is on the road to become a strong space nation. And this marks one of the milestone events of building a strong space nation.” Apart from this, Tongjie Liu, deputy director of the Lunar Exploration and Space Program Center for the China National Space Administration said, “Since the far side of the moon is shielded from electromagnetic interference from the Earth, it’s an ideal place to research the space environment and solar bursts, and the probe can ‘listen’ to the deeper reaches of the cosmos.”
However, now if an expert is to be believed, China might have very well faked the entire Moon landing. Popular alien researcher, Scott C Waring, uploaded a post titled ‘Stage Prop Line In Front Of Chinas Moon Rover In New Photos!’ on his blog ‘UFO Sightings Daily’ on January 14. In his post, he argued that a “stage probe” is visible in one of the photos of the probe which made a landing on the Moon. He points out a purported ‘white line’ drawn right in front of the Chinese Moon rover. He claimed that it proved the entire event was ‘staged’. He further wrote, “Wow! I just took a look at this amazing panoramic photo of Chinas after they landed the rover on the dark side of the moon…and what did I find? I instantly noticed a stage prop line for placement of the rover in the photo! Thats right, someone mistakenly placed a line in front of the rover and forgot to erase it. Or they should have made the line much smaller. This screams staged event altogether.” He also wrote, “This is very disappointing, but I guess China may have decided since NASA faked the first Apollo moon landing and got away with it, then China wanted in on it too. Sure I could be wrong, but if you look at the original photo you will see that there are no other lines in the entire giant panoramic photo.” Meanwhile, the Chinese space scientists revealed on Monday that China has offered the US space agency NASA, the use of its mission probe for “future American exploration of the far side of the moon.”
If Scott C Waring is to be believed then it is as big a development as the reports of the probe landing itself. If this substantially proves that China had “faked” probe’s landing on the Moon, it would bring China under a very tight spot. It claimed the historic achievement before the entire world and if proved wrong it will be left red-faced before the rest of the world.
