On Friday, former BCCI President, Anurag Thakur exposed the lies of the Congress President Rahul Gandhi on the issue of Rafale Deal. Anurag Thakur also berated the Gandhi scion for his objectionable comment on the ANI Editor Smita Prakash. In his speech, Anurag Thakur accused the Grand Old party of fiddling in defense deals and said that in the Congress regime, ‘no defense deal was conducted without a deal’.
The BJP MP took apart the lies of the ‘Prime Minister-in-waiting’. Accusing Congress party, a party of scamsters, he said “Congress took more than 20 days to prepare for the debate. When the opposition brought forward a leader to lead the discussion, it was a confused and a corrupt leader, who is out on bail. Woh 20 minute mein 20 jhooth bol kar chale gaye”.
Taking a jibe at Gandhi scion, Mr. Thakur called him a politician on bail, and berated him stating that those indulged in corruption are now questioning the BJP on the issue of scams. Rahul Gandhi was not able to withstand this onslaught by Thakur and after some time, he walked out of the assembly. On this, Anurag mimicked him and said, “Arre bhaiyya kahan jaa rahe ho”.
In the middle of his speech, when Jyotiraditya Scindia interrupted the BJP MP saying ‘we are discussing here defense deals i.e. Rafale’. Anurag Thakur mockingly said that yes, we will discuss about all the “deals”. Starting from Jeep scam which occurred at the time of first cabinet, BJP MP one by one added a long list of “accomplishments” of the Grand Old Party including National Herald scam, Bofors scam, Submarine scam, AgustaWestland scam, 2G scam, Coal block scam and Common Wealth scam.
Talking about the National Herald scam, Thakur accused the Gandhi family of tax evasion and added that National Herald was a case of forgery as well. Congress should stop the “Kabaddi of corruption”, said the BJP MP. Giving a clean chit to the saffron party he added that if 36 aircrafts are bought in the Rafale deal it is a win for “Sena, Satya aur Sarkar (Army, truth and government)”.
