Ahead of the Rajasthan state assembly elections, Jat leader Hanuman Singh Beniwal and his party men have come out with a poster claiming that former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag will be attending an event organised by them.
However, Virender Sehwag was quick to expose their propaganda and attacked Beniwal and his party men for misleading the public.
On Twitter, Virender Sehwag said, “LIAR ALERT?
I am in Dubai & have had no communication with any of these guys. When these Liars can shamelessly lie in the name of their campaign & try to fool people, wonder how much they will fool people if by any chance they come to power.
Anything is better than deceit & lies.”

Such an act of spreading propaganda through ads also raises a serious question on the editorial policy of the newspaper. A newspaper should not publish an ad without verifying facts from the person whose name has been mentioned in the ad. This is a serious matter and the Election Commission should take cognizance of the matter.
Hanuman Singh Beniwal is an ousted BJP leader who has formed his own party, Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) and seeks to act as the third option in Rajasthan elections. It seems that his third front is solely dedicated to fooling people and misusing the name of other famous personalities to achieve mean interests. Virender Sehwag may take strong action against Hanuman Beniwal and his men for using his name without his permission. Hanuman Beniwal is a jat leader and it seems that his party men want to use the name of any prominent personality who also happens to be a Jat, to give a boost to their caste politics. It’s just another example of dirty politics.
Beniwal is an ex BJP leader who had revolted against the BJP following which he was expelled from the party. He contested 2013 state assembly elections as an independent candidate and emerged victorious on Khinwsar seat of Nagore district. This time, ahead of the upcoming state assembly elections, he has formed his own party. The RLP and its patriots are hoping to grab all the Jat votes, comprising 12 to 14 percent of the electorate.
Hanuman Singh Beniwal is trying his level best to alienate Jat voters from the Congress and as well the BJP. This misleading and false ad in the newspaper getting exposed by Virender Sehwag is just a small example of this sort of propaganda. Such misleading ads are part of a larger political ploy. With 12 to 14 percent Jat votes, Beniwal believes that he can seriously spoil the games of the candidates of the BJP and as well as of the Congress. But, for now, Virender Sehwag has spoiled Beniwal’s game by exposing his fraud and has strongly attacked his cheap propaganda tactics. Virender Sehwag is a responsible citizen of the nation who is making sure that people do not get fooled by the cunning and unprincipled politicians.
