So, how would it feel when you’re considered to be one of India’s topmost or probably leading psephologist but you don’t stand up to the mark rather fail at it regularly and need to apologize for the same. Want to know about that feeling, better look up to ‘Yogendra Yadav’ for it.
If there is something called ‘Dheeth’, then Yogendra Yadav will be considered apt for the adjective. Shamefully carrying on with his predictions and getting it proved wrong every time, he has again stirred up controversy as the National President of Swaraj India has said, “As things stand today, the BJP is staring at a loss of 100 seats from the peak it attained in 2014. Unless something changes dramatically, there is no way the BJP can touch the 200 seat mark necessary for it to cobble up a majority. That would effectively put paid to Mr Modi’s prospects of a re-election.”
This is not the first time that he has fired up controversy rather it has been an on-going process from quite a while. With his fake innocence, he predicted something of same sort rather than making an accurate prediction in the cases of Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh elections as well but as usual, his predictions never turned into reality. Henceforth, it would be right if we consider him to be ‘inadequate’ and better term him as a ‘failed psephologist’!
We have plenty of evidence for strengthening our stance in regard to this. This tale of fake predictions started from General Elections of 2014 when Yogendra Yadav contested from Gurugram constituency and lost heavily by a margin of 5,50,000+ votes and he ‘comfortably secured the 4th spot’. Well, here too Mr. Yadav had claimed that Aam Aadmi Party will surprise everyone in Haryana which turned out to be farce.
Well, it was true of him to say such statements as he was considered No. 2 in AAP at that point of time. What happened later isn’t hidden from anyone as he left the party in order to form his own party named ‘Swaraj India’ which goes by the idea of ‘Sirf Party Nahin, Mission hai’
Moving ahead, he predicted on the same lines for Uttar Pradesh stating that there would be ‘hung assembly’ with ‘BJP ahead’.
My expectations:
Uttkd: BJP majority
UP: hung, BJP ahead
PB: alkali rout, anything else possible

But the reality is hidden from none as Bhartiya Janta Party under the able leadership of Prime Minister Modi and party President Amit Shah registered a thumping victory in the 17th Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly as it won 325 seats comfortably forming the government on its own and appointing Yogi Adityanath as Chief Minister of the state. Whereas, the Indian National Congress alliance with the Samajwadi Party could only manage 54 seats. On the other hand, ‘Bahujan Samaj Party’ or the BSP could only bag 19 seats this time around.
Well, if you think that Yogendra Yadav was done here, you’re MISTAKEN! He again went onto give his ‘godly’ predictions for Gujarat, which proved to be WRONG again! He predicted drubbing for BJP in Gujarat elections putting forth three scenarios

Bhartiya Janta Party won comfortably with 99 seats and 49.1% of vote share whereas Congress could only manage 77 seats with 41.4% of the vote share.
What was left then for him to do?
Yogendra Yadav came out and felt sorry about the wrong projections as he tweeted “I am sorry, my pre-poll projection was off: abt 3% deviation even from scenario1. Mine wasn’t wishful thinking, certainly not propaganda. I relied upon objective data, ground reports & opinion polls. Yet I was wrong.” “Would be silly to blame EVM. Need to accept error and learn.”
It is evident that there isn’t any force as of now or later that stops Prime Minister Narendra Modi from his ‘developmental vision’, even if Mr Yadav visits Gujarat in support of Jignesh Mewani and blatantly says ‘BJP is losing in Gujarat’
What more can we expect coming out from him as he again has predicted that BJP will be at the losing end with a fall of at least 100 seats and would barely manage to touch the 200-mark. After all, this one can only advise Mr Yadav to sit back and see his already damaged career getting worse!
