The #metoo movement in India has raised a storm among the self-appointed guardians of the society who strongly believe that all the people of India should take their approval before doing or saying anything. The ongoing #metoo movement has exposed many wolves in sheep’s skin. The latest one is Vishwanath Nair who is currently working as an associate editor with the Bloomberg Quint.

In what can be termed as a bolt from the blue for Vishwanath Nair, when he was giving sermons on how to create a safe working environment for women, trying to act as champion of women rights, and was bashing males for creating troubles for women at workplaces, a girl exposed the hypocrisy of virtual feminist Vishwanath Nair.

She narrated an incident of 2013 where the current employee of Bloomberg Quint had forced the girl to kiss his private part. Her ordeal came to an end only when her friends came to her rescue.

This was not a stray incident. Vishwanath Nair acted in a similar fashion with another girl. A girl named Apoorva Dutt narrated a similar experience which she had with Vishwanath Nair. He was at the girl’s house with his two other friends. After his friends left, he forced the girl to allow him to stay at her home for the night because he doesn’t have money and many other excuses. The girl asked him to leave many times but he didn’t oblige. Finally, reluctantly, the girl allowed him to stay. At night, he repeatedly tried to grope her despite physical protests from the girl. Finally, at six am when her endurance capacity crossed the threshold limit, she threw him out of her house.

The above mentioned incident took place five years ago but the guy bothered to send the apology only two days ago when the #metoo movement intensified and many well-known personalities lost their jobs because of the expose of their predatory behavior.

When his dark side was exposed, he apologized and quickly deleted his tweet.

Bloomberg Quint has taken immediate cognizance of the predatory behavior of its employee and has issued a statement. The Bloomberg Qiunt should take a leaf out of Hotstar’s book and remove their employee who is accused of sexual misbehavior by two women. Presence of such serial sexual offenders can be problematic for the women employees of their office in the future.

With each and every passing day, the #metoo campaign is unmasking the hypocrisy and double-standard of the left-liberal cabal. The likes of Swara Bhasker and Anurag Kashyap are already receiving flak on social media for maintaining double standards for protecting Varun Grover who comes from their own left-liberal cabal.
