This is why Subramanian Swamy’s strategy to deal with Pakistan makes much more sense now

It is an open secret that state of Pakistan is at the mercy of the Army. As it is said, “In other countries state has an army but in Pakistan army has a state.” So, it doesn’t matter which regime comes to power, it is the army which dominates the affairs of the Pakistan and have final say on almost every issue. The newly elected Pakistan PM with the backing of Army- Imran Khan- promised to create ‘Naya Pakistan’ and improve ties with India. However, in just few days he showed his true colors and proved that he is no different than his predecessors.  Under his leadership the country has once again shown that it is a treacherous neighbor which only speaks of peace and at the same time indulges in blatant anti-India propaganda and anti-India activity. The newly appointed Pakistan prime minister has been claiming that he wants better and peaceful relations with India and at the same time Pakistan has issued postage stamps commemorating Kashmiri terrorist Burhan Wani as a freedom fighter. Under his leadership, Pakistan army mutilated bodies of Indian soldiers and violated ceasefire many times.

In the wake of latest failure in engaging with Pakistan, Subramanian Swamy’s idea to deal with Pakistan makes much more sense. Senior BJP leader and the Rajya Sabha member- Subramanian Swamy- has outlined this strategy to deal with Pakistan many times in the past and in the wake cancellation of talks yesterday.

Speaking to ANI, Subramanian Swamy said, “Let us (India) prepare for the possibility that Pakistan may carry out war by miscalculation. We should be ready to finish Pakistan and break it into four and look for that opportunity.” He also added that holding meetings and talks with Pakistan is a “waste of time”.

He also asked the Centre to break the backbone of Pakistan’s economy by expunging the Most Favoured Nation (MFN) clause of trade which provides it access to enter the Indian boundary without permit. Subramanian Swamy said, “We have to be careful that they do not feel that we have no response. So, we should divide our strategy into three parts. One is immediate action, second is medium-term and third is long-term.”

In the medium term strategy, Subramanian Swamy said that India should target those 42 terror camps, one of them in which mastermind of 26/11 Mumbai attacks- Hafiz Saeed- stays. For Long term strategy, Subramanian Swamy says India should work in the direction to divide Pak into four parts and recognize Balochistan by constituting a Human Rights Centre. He also added, “We should also bomb Dawood’s residence. These surgical strikes have lost their meaning as it is followed by two months of peace but then we are back to the same.”

Subramanian Swamy also suggested that the Pakistani embassies should be immediately shut down. He said, “There are around 1,000 employees in Pakistani embassy in Delhi and around 300 in Mumbai. That is useless as there are all de facto prisoners & they are all ISI recruited people. They are playing havoc with our local Muslim people.”

Earlier also he has many times suggested to break Pak into four parts. Amidst the crisis in the terrorist country and its refusal to stop terror activities and support to separatists, Swamy’s idea is the only logical way to deal with Pak. His plan would not only provide a big relief to India but also to the rest of the world.
