The recently concluded JNU elections were marred with violence, hooliganism, rumour-mongering, falsehoods and other undemocratic and uncivilized means the left resorted to in order to save its last bastion. After the election victory, the leftists went on a rampage. Callous leftist goons’ unleashed terror against ABVP activists, dragged students out of the hostel room and then continued to beat them mercilessly. Many students suffered serious injuries. Even the girls were not spared. ABVP activists demanding fair counting of the ballot papers were brutally beaten and later on chased by leftists with a knife. This kind of anti-women behaviour shows the misogynist mindset of leftists. All the talks of women empowerment by leftists and their ideologues are just mere lip-services. In reality, they hate empowered and strong women. For communists, only those women deserve respect who are the slaves of their ideology, follow their diktats blindly and the rest of the other women should be beaten and abused. Their mindset towards women is clearly evident in these videos and in past their blue-eyed boy-Jignesh Mevani– posted a derogatory photoshopped image of a woman.
Nauseatingly unfair means and violence adopted by leftists’ show their desperation and the realization that they are all but finished. Except in JNU, in rest of the parts of India, the left has become a politically irrelevant. JNU is their last fort which they are desperately trying to save at any cost and by any means. Modi government’s crackdown on Urban Naxals, its relentless assault against Naxals and uncompromising attitude towards anti-Nationals has rattled the left and it was clearly evident in the conduct of the ‘united left’ during the JNU voting process, the campaigning and the events that unfolded after the victory of United left. ABVP’s continuous rise on the JNU campus challenged the hegemony of the leftists. In order to save their existence, various factions of the left united under one red umbrella to challenge the rise of nationalist ABVP. But even that failed to silence the voices of nationalist forces so now insular leftists have stoop down to lynching ABVP activists and other nationalist voices of the campus. This menace is not limited to JNU only, leftists adopt similar tactics in Kerala as well which is ruled by a communist party. In colleges of Kerala, ABVP activists are not even allowed campaign where there is a strong presence of leftist student organizations.

What’s appalling is the stoic silence maintained by Lutyens’ media and liberal-leftist cabal. They are trying their level best to suppress the news of violence unleashed by leftist goons against ABVP activists and other students of JNU. Mainstream media leaves no stone unturned to dismiss the importance and value of DUSU elections as mere show of muscle power and money power. But on the other hand a rosy picture of JNU elections is painted despite the blatant show of muscle power and unfair means employed by the leftists. All the visuals of the violence after the victory of left have been completely blacked out by Lutyens’ media. No one bothered to expose the hollowness of anti-ABVP rumor spread by the coteries of leftists on social media. In order to play the victim card and justify violence against ABVP, many leftists and urban naxals started spreading anti-ABVP rumors.

An alleged attack against a member of tukde-tukde gang gets more media coverage than deadly attack launched against ABVP cadres. Now, no one is crying of intolerance, rise of fascism and totalitarianism, dissent etc. It would be no exaggeration to say there is an emergency like situation in JNU with the support of Media. Freedom of speech and expression is actually in danger in JNU. The recent violence unleashed by leftists buttress the fact that leftists want monopoly over JNU as well as over freedom of speech, expression and thought. They strongly believe that JNU is for the leftists, by the leftists and of the leftists and anyone who tries to challenge this will be dealt with brutal violence.
