In European countries, there are several ‘no-go zones‘ where police and citizens are not allowed to enter. Illegal immigrants, usually belonging to a particular religion are running these no-go zone areas according to their own religious rules and regulations. Even the cops also avoid entering into these no-go zone areas for fear of their lives.

Similar to European countries, some people tried to create a no-go zone in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh but the UP police cracked down heavily upon them. According to a Times of India report, on Wednesday three policemen were brutally beaten by a group of villagers at Kanhaisarai Chowk village.

In the case of a minor girl’s kidnapping, the S-I and two constables had raided a house in the village for interrogation. Few days back, a minor girl of Ghamariya village had eloped with a guy named Shahid of Aurangabad. The father of the girl had registered an FIR. Police in its investigation found that Shahid was continuously in touch with a friend from Ghamariya village. His friend revealed that the youth had gone to visit his maternal grandfather Haji Yasin. SI Bhupendra Singh and constables manager Chauhan, Pawan and Rahul Prasad reached to Haji Yasin’s house along with members of the girl’s family. When the police asked Haji Yasin and his family members to produce the youth, Haji’s family members caught all the three policemen while the girl’s family managed to flee. Many villagers gathered at Yasin’s house and brutally beaten the trio and after beating them they tied them with poles.

Later, Inspector Lohta sent some policemen at the site to save the trio. After that on the orders of the SSP, SP (rural) Amit Kumar collected policemen from 10 police stations, PAC and commandos of anti-terror squad and raided Kanhaisarai Chowk village in the evening to arrest those who brutally thrashed SI and constables and held them hostage. With the help of video clips, police identified the persons involved in the incident. Till now, the police have arrested 26 persons.

The Uttar Pradesh police cracked down heavily upon them. The more they try to create anarchy in the state the more they will invite the wrath of CM Yogi and the Uttar Pradesh Police. In all this, the most appalling thing is the stoic silence maintained by the mainstream media and intellectuals on this incident. Isn’t this a case of mob violence? Three policemen brutally thrashed by a violent mob. Why no-award wapsi and outrage on this incident. Are policemen less human than others? This incident has one more time exposed the hypocrisy of the left-liberal intelligentsia. This proves that they are not concerned about mob lynching or mob-violence, they are only interested in those incidents where members belonging to a particular community is being beaten by members of some other community.
