Rashtriya Janta Dal leader and former Health Minister of Bihar, Tej Pratap Yadav threatened to quit politics. He took to social media (facebook) to express his dissatisfaction with his mother (former Chief Minister of Bihar), Rabri Devi, over not acknowledging the issues faced by him within the party. Hence, he is considering the option of leaving politics. According to the Republic Tv report, Tej Pratap in his letter accused RJD leader Om Prakash Yadav and Member of Legislative Council, Subodh Kumar Rai for damaging his reputation. Tej Pratap claimed that he talked about this issue with his parents but then no action was taken against these leaders, instead his mother scolded him for the same.
Tej Pratap Yadav claimed that Om Prakash Yadav and Subodh Kumar Rai had been referring to him as mentally disturbed, and Joru Ka Ghulam (slave of his wife). He stated that he was under heavy pressure because of such insulting words and inaction from his mother’s side. That is the reason why he has decided to leave politics. There were already speculations that Tej Pratap might leave politics for Bollywood. He is making his Bollywood debut with ‘Rudra: The Avtar’.

Earlier, there were reports about the ongoing tension between the RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav and brother Tej Pratap Yadav. Alluding to the epic ‘Mahabharata’, Tej Pratap indicated that he would leave his seat for his brother Tejashwi Yadav. He further added in his tweet that even if he goes away a few would have a problem as then he would be called a Kingmaker.
Tej Pratap’s tweet caused much speculation, with Lalu Prasad Yadav away after being convicted in the fodder scam, tension is brewing between his sons.

Later, his facebook post created a lot of controversy in social media which eventually led to him deleting the post within half an hour. He claimed that RSS-BJP is behind all this FB Fiasco. Later, Tej Pratap claimed that his account was hacked by the RSS-BJP in order to create disharmony in the family. According to the Indian Express report, in a FB post on Monday, Tej Pratap wrote, “My account was hacked by the BJP and RSS IT Cell and they are saying ill about my family, trying to create a rift between us. Earlier, my father’s Facebook page was hacked by a BJP supporter and he was jailed for his actions. Bad things have been written initially about me and now my mother. Seeing our success, our opponents have stooped down to the lowest levels of politics.”
He also claimed, “BJP-RSS supporters have always tried to hack my social media accounts and today they succeeded.”
Tej Pratap Yadav further claimed that Nitish Kumar and Sushil Modi got his account hacked because of his increasing popularity and also threatened to file an FIR.
