Ahead of 2019 General Elections, it seems nothing is going well for the Congress but everything is falling into place for the BJP. BJP leaders are visiting prominent personalities and asking for their support under the ‘sampark for samarthan’ (reach-out for support) campaign launched by Amit Shah himself. The BJP has selected 100,000 eminent Indians from all walks of life who are social influencers and whose point of view matters. Amit Shah stated that, “During this campaign, we will inform people about the achievements of the government and work to be undertaken in the fifth year of the government. We will explain to them the measures taken by the government to uplift the poor.” Amit Shah began the campaign by first meeting with Lt. General Dalbir Singh Suhag and former Lok Sabha Secretary General and constitutional expert Subhash C Kashyap.

The campaign is getting good results and many influencers and opinion makers have showed their interest to support the BJP. As part of ‘sampark for samarthan’ outreach, BJP is also visiting spiritual groups and asking them to support the BJP in 2019 General elections. On Sunday, BJP President Amit Shah had visited Haridwar and met Juna Akhara’s Swami Avdheshanand, and Swami Satyamitranand, founder of Haridwar-based Bharat Mata Mandir, and asked for the support of their organizations for the next General Elections. On Wednesday, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat chaired a meeting with the chiefs of many prominent Hindu organizations like Juna Akhara, Udaseen Panchayati Akhara, Patanjali Yogpeeth and All-World Gayatri Pariwar.

All-World Gayatri Pariwar chief, with 15 crore followers all over the world, also had a very good meeting with Amit Shah and Gayatri Pariwar chief said that they will support the BJP in 2019 Lok Sabha polls. Chief of AWGP, Pranav Pandya, who also attended meeting with RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat in Haridwar, said, “Amit Shah ki tarah hum unhe receive nahi karenge. Who aaye toh aayien. Hamein uski shakal achchhi nahi lagti (We will not receive Rahul Gandhi like we received Amit Shah. If Rahul wants to visit us, it’s up to him. I don’t like his face)”, as reported by Indian Express. This was a clear snub to Rahul Gandhi and Congress Party by the AWGP chief.

Gayatri pariwar is an influential organization and although what’s chief Pranav Pandya has said is politically incorrect, it is good that he is standing for the right party and taking sides. 2019 General elections are going to be a battle where everyone needs to take sides. It’s a battle between the Good and the evil, and the neutrality between the good and evil itself is an evil. With the RSS drumming support for the BJP through these spiritual organizations, it is likely to have a positive affect for the BJP in 2019. It might affect the outcome of the elections significantly in the favour of the BJP considering the fact that spiritual organizations and spiritual groups play a great role in the lives of Indian masses. Spiritual organizations like Art of living and Isha foundation are doing a great job towards social transformation and environmental protection.

While the BJP is in full gear, the wannabe PM from the Congress party is out of the country and other PM aspirants are fighting among themselves. Amidst all this, BJP is silently carrying out their campaign and preparing their road to victory.
