One of the main reasons why foreign invaders could rule India for hundreds of years is because of the traitors of the country. These traitors always sided with the foreigners for their own interests. As of now the conditions have not changed much, in fact number of traitors has increased significantly. Time and again we come across such traitors, who side with the enemy country, support, separatists, naxals, etc.
Coming to the moot issue, Dubai based celebrity and chef Atul Kochhar might face prosecution for speaking out the truth. The truth he said is controversial and anti-Islamic as per liberal standards. He criticised Priyanka Chopra for her controversial Quantico episode where Priyanka Chopra reveals the religious identity of the terrorist after discovering the rudraksha on the body of the terrorist, who are planning to blow up New York’s Manhattan with a nuclear attack and has framed Pakistanis as the one who are behind the terrorist attack. This didn’t go down well with the Indians and the Hindus. They lamented Priyanka Chopra and the entire Quantico team on social media. One such Indian is the famous celebrity chef, Atul Kochhar. He came out strongly against Priyanka Chopra, he tweeted, “It’s sad to see that you have not respected the sentiments of hindus who have been terrorized by Islam over 2000 years. Shame on you.” Except for the years, he didn’t say anything invalid. But some of the trojan horses found it wrong and anti-Islamic.
Rupa Subramanya (we’re not quite sure who she is- journalist/economist/historian, who knows?) quoted Atul Kochhar’s tweet saying, it won’t go down well with the authorities in the UAE where he does business, and she even tagged the company he does business with.
Probably not going to go down well with authorities in the UAE where @atulkochhar does business ( @JWDubaiMarquis ) or his Muslim patrons around the world. But on the other hand he'll be popular on the Indian Right. 😬 pic.twitter.com/aK9Oo9WUnw

Later Atul Kochhar was forced to apologize for exercising his freedom of speech and expression.

According to Arab Media, Atul Kochhar could face prosecution . Now his life and livelihood both are at risk. He has been also getting death threats. Laws related to speaking anything against Islam in Dubai are very strict. Atul Kochhar has become another victim of the fascist liberals.
What I like is that in some parts of the world there is still pressure to take back coarse bigotry compared to Indian Twitter where this statement would be called pseudo secular by the crazies! https://t.co/yj11O4X0Qn

Just got this mail from @JWDubaiMarquis they have terminated the services of Atul Kochhar. Bigotry is non negotiable pic.twitter.com/BiwdYaowLB

This incident united the entire right-wing on Twitter like never before on any issue. One of the leading right-wing news website OpIndia has put out a disclaimer, saying that they are embarrassed because their website had published an article written by Rupa Subramanya. They also said they will never ever engage with Rupa again. Other right-wingers also disassociated themselves with Rupa Subramanya.
A note on the recent development of @rupasubramanya endangering the life and livelihood of star chef Atul Kochhar pic.twitter.com/hScMvG1ZlU

Indians have not learned anything from their past experiences. It is one thing to insult people with impunity and pretend to be an expert on every subject under the sun on Twitter. But it is quite another to put a fellow Indian (or at least someone of Indian origin) life and livelihood at risk. For some people, their ego satisfaction is more important than the life of their compatriots.
Coming up to how dangerous a traitor living inside the country is, Marcus Tullius Cicero perfectly sums this up, he said, “A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear.”
