Punjab RSS leader’s murder part of conspiracy to revive Khalistan movement

While investigating the murder of an RSS leader in Punjab, the NIA has come to learn that it was part of a larger conspiracy to destabilize Punjab and bring terrorism back to the state. Ravinder Gosain, an RSS member, was shot dead outside his residence in Ludhiana when he was returning from the Shakha. According to NIA, this was the strategy of members of the Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF), wherein international actors are also involved in the conspiracy. Under this plan, eight incidents of targeted killings against the members belonging to particular communities and organizations were attempted/executed between January 2016 and October 2017 in Punjab.

There is a Pakistan connection in this as well, and it was found in the investigation that the conspiracy had its footprints in countries like Pakistan, UK, Australia, UAE, Italy and France. As a part of this stratagem, a large amount of money was transferred through countries like UK, Australia and Italy to the abettors, Hardeep Singh and Ramandeep Singh, to purchase weapons and carry out killings of the targeted person.

Accused Hardeep Singh is a permanent resident of Italy and Ramandeep Singh is from Ludhiana, Punjab. Both the perpetrators Harshdeep Singh and Ramandeep Singh were trained and recruited in Italy and Dubai respectively.   They were both trained by Gursharanbir Singh, a resident of UK.  Daily leads of day to day activities, which were an integral part of the plan were given by Pakistani based Harmeet Singh alias PhD. The charge sheet, based on evidence collected from various sources and many countries, includes the name of: Hardeep Singh, Ramandeep Singh, Dharminder Singh, Anil Kumar, Jagtar Singh, Johal Amaninder Singh, Manpreet Singh, Ravipal Pahad Singh, Parvez, Malook Tomar, Harmeet Singh alias PhD, Gurjinder Singh Shastri ,  Gursharanbir Singh, Gurjant Singh.

In the past, KLF has been involved in many killings in the state of Punjab. In 2008, a member of the KLF carried out an attack on the head of Dera Sacha Sauda. In 2009 they assassinated RSS Punjab President Rulda Singh. In 2009 they killed Dera Sacha Sauda, Sirsa Manager Lilly Kumar in Ludhiana and in 2009 the main accused of 1984 Anti-Sikh Riots, Dr Budh Parkash Kashyap, was killed by the KLF. This terrorist organization has been active since 1987 and they have been actively involved in numerous killings.

The main objective behind all this is the agenda to revive the era of anarchy, disorder, and secessionist terrorism in Punjab. There has been a constant attempt to revive the Khalistan movement in Punjab. For this a large amount of money is illegally dumped in Punjab to revive the Khalistan movement. Despite knowing how dangerous and harmful for the country it can be to revive a Frankenstein monster like the Khalistan movement, there are still some politicians who are irresponsibly associating with Khalistani radicals and giving them tickets in the elections. It is better for the country, as well as for democracy, if politicians like Kejriwal steer clear of such fundamentalists.
