After the debacle in Gorakhpur and Phulpur, the BJP does not want to take any chances. PM Modi and other BJP leaders are going all out to ensure a win for their candidate Mriganka Singh, daughter of Late Hukum Singh. On 27th May a mega rally has been set for PM Modi in Baghpat to inaugurate the Eastern peripheral Expressway. While the election campaigning in Kairana come to an end on May 26th, PM Modi’s rally in Baghpat a day later will probably crush the opposition’s strategy.
Kairana, a historical city located in the Shamli district in the Uttar Pradesh has been in the news for all the wrong reasons in recent years. The mass-exodus of Kairana hindus from the torture being inflicted upon them by the goons, belonging to the majority population of Kairana was a point of national debate before the Uttar Pradesh State elections.
