Congress President Rahul Gandhi had an air scare on Thursday, 26th of February. A plane carrying Congress President Rahul Gandhi and his cohorts Mr. Rampreet, Mr. Rahul Ravi, Mr. Rahul Gautam and Kaushal Vidyarthee faced a snag owing to some technical issues. The plane originating from Delhi at 9:20 am was scheduled to arrive in Hubli, Karnataka at around 11:45 am. The plane journey turned out to be a nightmare for Rahul and company as it developed a snag which was discovered during the course of landing. The passengers were distressed and anxious because of the incident. The plane made 2 unsuccessful attempts before it safely landed on the third one. Mrs. Neelmani N Raju, Director General and Inspector General of Police, Karnataka received a letter from Kaushal Vidyarthee a passenger in the plane. The letter mentions the details and timings related to the unfortunate events in the flight.
Congress leaders and workers created havoc on the internet and media regarding this event. Some called it a plot to get Rahul Gandhi killed while others even went to the extent of blaming the on-flight troubles on Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). The flight had been a harrowing one for the Congress team member’s right from the start. Passengers were reportedly subjected to a clanking noise throughout the journey of the flight. The plane had also allegedly tilted to one side, lost altitude and was shuddering while it was in the air. Surely it is a serious and distressing ordeal for anyone and we hope it never happens with any VIP or common man from anywhere around the globe.
Glad to be in a room and getting some rest….thankful for being alive…never had such a frightening experience in my life…plane went into free fall…couldnt believe CP's composure and calmness as he stood beside pilots trying to save the situation.

What followed the incident though, made this incident take a stupid turn. It is silly how a chartered plane which must have been booked by a Congress leader or someone who was close enough with Rahul Gandhi develops a snag mid-flight and the blame is put on the BJP. The ultra-suspicious Congress leaders went all out without understanding that it was a private flight taken by Rahul Gandhi and his cohorts. It was not a government sponsored flight. The mindless accusations which flowed from Congress leaders also included applause for Rahul Gandhi who allegedly maintained his cool throughout the incident. He reportedly was standing in the cockpit while the pilots were desperately trying to maneuver the plane to safety. The buttering of Rahul Gandhi did not stop here as he was credited with ‘helping’ the pilots while the chartered plane was tilted and shuddering.
Never thought we would make it through what happened in the aircraft today…cant believe how brave RG is…being a pilot himself he was constantly by the side of the crew through the crisis. Respect! @vidyarthee

Rahul Gandhi’s ‘expertise’ as a pilot helped the pilots who were able to finally land the plane successfully after 2 failed attempts. This fact did not go unnoticed by the people of our country who started making memes and jokes showcasing Rahul’s ‘ability’ as a pilot. His ‘calm’ composure and ‘safe hands’ were also picked on and used against him.
Get to know the right, then you would know the people of right. Right Is not measured by its men, but men are measured by their right.

All jokes and memes aside, it is a serious incident involving the head of the opposition. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation too realized the seriousness of the incident and clarified that the plane’s auto pilot mode had developed a snag which can happen on any flight. The DGCA also confirmed that the pilots switched off the Auto-pilot mode and had landed the plane manually. DGCA, however, is going to investigate the allegations regarding tampering of the plane and will send in a special crew for the task. Amid all the accusations of foul play being raised by the Congress, a few more questions arise. If there was any kind of foul play involved wouldn’t it be necessary to thoroughly interrogate the booking agent and the chartered plane company officials? The Congress worker who had booked the plane must be thoroughly questioned too. Was there any reason for him to be dissatisfied with Congress President Rahul Gandhi? Is there an internal tussle going on in the Congress which has led to a plot against the life of its President? Or was it just a drama to put some allegations on the BJP prior to the Karnataka elections to gain public sympathy?
Think along these lines too while you watch out for the developments in this case.
