Syed Zaibuddin Ansari alias Abu Jundal, the serial terror plotter who had masterminded to assassinate Narendra Modi, the then Gujarat chief minister and Pravin Togadia of VHP was convicted along with 11 others. Abu Jundal has been awarded a life imprisonment along with 6 other accomplices while 2 others have got 14 years term and the remaining 3 abettors have been given 8 years imprisonment by a special Maharashtra Control Of Organized Crime Act Court.
Abu Jundal a resident of Beed district in Maharashtra who was heavily influenced by the tenets of Ahle Hadees or Salafis joined the banned SIMI group, he was also hired by Indian Mujahideen and later Lashkar e Toiba and was involved in many extremist activities in Gujarat, he was first caught in the arms haul case in Aurangabad in 2006 and later in 2008 he managed to give a slip to the Mumbai ATS when his consignment of arms and ammunition was seized after a chase however he had managed to flee to Pakistan via Bangladesh route and then had moved to Saudi Arabia only to be deported back to India in 2012. The lethal pile of 10 AK 47s, 3200 live cartridges, 43kgs of RDX and 50 hand grenades found in his consignment vehicle just before he fled, has been confirmed by the courts today, which had then shockingly revealed to the world the deadly plan to assassinate the state head and other political personalities.
Abu Jundal was also allegedly involved in the Mumbai train blasts case, German Bakery case, the Bangalore bomb blast case. He was one of the six Lashkar handlers who master minded the 26/11 Mumbai terror blasts in 2008. The captured Pakistani terrorist Ajmal Kasab, before his execution had made shocking revelations during his trial that one Abu Jundal had imparted Hindi training to the 10 terrorists and had briefed and acquainted them about the local habits, words, and best routes to take in a crisis and how best to bleed as many as possible in ruthless Mumbai terror siege that killed several hundred innocent victims and many of our brave army and police men. He also has an Interpol Red Corner notice against him and is convicted by the courts under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act, Explosives Act, Arms Act and for conspiracy under the Indian penal code only to become yet another burden on tax payer’s money as we will not only pay for his living but also fund for the expenditure on his security fearing his escape or an attack on him.
Abu Jundal – A traitor who connived with the ISI terror plotters to wreak havoc in a dastardly manner to inflict fear among its netizens, disrupting the city’s peace and disintegrating many families is today awarded a mere life imprisonment for all that treason and terror he inflicted upon the nation.
While a section of media and masses then reflected and opined that the whole turn of events was a retaliation to the 2002 Gujarat Godhra violence and audaciously justified the jihadi angle to this case turning a gruesome terror plot into a sympathetic minority victimization ploy, there were few other looming voices that did not rule out the possible role of certain ministers of the UPA regime who desperately wanted to get rid of the growing Modi mania.
In spite of the tsunami of vile vilifications Modi did churn a new wave and in today’s context Abu Jundal is nothing more than an instrument of a good foreign policy amidst growing Indo-Saudi-American ties but the doleful part is why should we citizens bear the cost of living of a terror breeder?
But interestingly our Home Minister Rajnath Singh is attending the SAARC meet which is hosted in a hostile Pakistan, a nation where changing rulers escape like changing weathers into a London oblivion fearing a coup or capture in their own country, a nation that could not even host a cricket match safely and provide security to the Sri Lankan cricket team then.
Pakistan a nation run by Western stooges who care a damn to its people or their preferences posing with its Western aides and Saudi funds and Salafi scientists will keep bombarding India with terror and infiltration while Indian ministers keep visiting and talking to Pakistan even as they announce to the world that terror and talks cannot happen simultaneously but how long will India pretend to dust aside the dirt of differences and pitch in like a talking parrot with many wild card entries?
