Modi, Trump, Brexit; it seems nationalism is on a roll. What was once the booty of the left winged jerks is now rightfully being claimed back by the right people. Call it what you want, but it seems issues that actually concern the masses are being taken up for the first time by politicians, and nothing can be as better as this. Especially for someone like RSS, for whom nationalist issues are a tonic. Now that RSS is going global, it has played a card, if sources are to believed, that kills birds with two stones. By approaching a well known celebrity, who is pro vegetarianism, RSS will not only expand its image, but will also give the anti national and intellectual terrorists’ brigade a nice pain in the posterior. The celebrity is the international superstar and Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio, and how RSS aims to achieve their objective with him, is the crux of this story.
Now everybody knows for sure that RSS is a right Wing, nationalist organization, whose very aim is to weed out the hypocritical forces, that under the garb of secularism, are hell bent on destroying India. If you’re a beginner, then to start with, RSS, i.e. Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, was formed in 1924, by an influential doctor Keshavrao Baligram Hedgewar, with the aim of establishing the concept of an independent India, free from any religious bigotry, encapsulating the idea of ‘Akhand Bharat’, as envisioned once by Acharya Chanakya. The organization had some well connected roots to the revolutionaries, including the likes of Pandit Ram Prasad Bismil, Ashfaqullah Khan, Chandra Shekhar Azad, Shivaram Hari Rajguru, and Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, among others.
Although accused of Hindu bigotry, this organization has never failed in its objective to protect India from any malice that threatens the very foundation on which our nation has been made.
Now no one will tell you this, but despite being framed for Mahatma Gandhi’s assassination, the RSS volunteers (swayamsevaks) had prevented over 350+ attempts of coups on the first democratically elected government of independent India. Sadly, this pro India organization is yet to get the massive support it deserves.
However, how is RSS, a nationalist organization, connected with Leonardo DiCaprio? BEEF Ban, my friends. One of the pet projects of RSS is the protection of cows, through the ban on slaughter of cows for beef, on the grounds of the Hindu ideology, that they (the cows) provide food to us, and hence, worthy enough to be worshipped, not slaughtered. Although Leonardo DiCaprio doesn’t share the exact ideology, he is also of the opinion that the slaughter of livestock should be banned. Leonardo DiCaprio, who has become an influential voice for the environmental causes, has attributed pollution caused by the livestock slaughter, which includes greenhouse gas emissions, to be 14.5% of the total, which is a serious cause of concern.
Now that RSS’ top brass will be in London in July, in order to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of its overseas wing, the Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh, they have decided to bring in some international support for one of their causes, the anti beef movement. If the sources are correct, the special guests invited for the event include Leonardo DiCaprio, Sir David Attenborough, and Virgin Atlantic owner Sir Richard Branson.
How does the invitation to Leonardo DiCaprio help the cause of RSS?
Simple. Leonardo DiCaprio is already a huge celebrity, with millions of Indian fans lauding his work day and night. He might be trolled a bit as ‘Titanic Wala Hero’, but the respect that he would receive from India is immeasurable. Besides, his foster mother is an Amritdhari Sikh as well, which further connects Leo’s roots to India. Given that Leonardo DiCaprio is vegetarian himself, he can surely give an impetus to the anti beef movement, that has been highly controversial whenever taken up as an issue. So India, get ready for Jack Dawson campaigning for vegetarianism, if he accepts the request of RSS!
On a funnier note, this move shall also give a rude shock to the anti India brigade, comprising the scion of lecherous, pseudo secular politicians, and the wicked intellectual terrorists, who look forward to celebrities for supporting their cause. A support to the anti beef ban movement from Leo’s side in India will definitely rob the limelight from their side, which they seriously hate from their hearts. Worse, if the people actually follow Leonardo DiCaprio, backed by RSS, the liberals will have no support left. I’m sure any liberal, or left winger, who might be reading this, is already thinking of buying truckloads of Burnol!
The jokes aside, if RSS manages to pull in Leonardo DiCaprio for their anti beef campaign, this will not only be a master stroke, but will also revive the much needed respect this pro India and anti intellectual terrorist organization seriously deserves.
