We keep talking about how ‘shitty’ our cinema is as compared to Hollywood. They have “The Big Lebowski” for comedy, “Goodfellas” for crime, “Pulp Fiction” for weirdness, “Fight Club” for awesomeness, “The Godfather” for grandeur, “Batman Trilogy” for larger than life flicks. And we have 100 crore movies, 200 crore movies and the recent obsession, the bloody 300 crore movies.
But, there were geniuses who created some cinematic masterpieces and there are some geniuses who are quietly taking the Indian Cinema forward. Here is my list of the best 101 movies of Indian Cinema (Hindi). Please note that the list is unsorted and is in no particular order.

I am a big fan of your page and website but please stay away things that have anything to do with movies. You said “Best Movies of India Cinema”. Where are the best movies? Apu’s Trilogy? Charulata? Other movies by Rithwik Ghatak and Satyajit Ray who brought Italian neo-realism to India?
Half of these movies are average flicks that don’t deserve a place in this list. Herapheri was a good comedy but it was a ripoff of Lock Stock….. There are many films that deserve a place here. Anand? Do ankhe barah hath? Aankhon Dekhi? There are many,, So this list does not make any sense.
Well its not a serious cinema post. It includes some bullshit and plagiarised films too.
Like Modiji, its just to divert attention of TFI audiences from the corruption of 4 bahuraniyan of BJP. (TFI had full fledged post over Tomars false degree remember?)
Why not a justifying post over the unethical ladies of the party or you decided to keep “MAUNmohan” like Modiji?
Hey how about post over AAPs budget comparison with Central government’s budget?

Already watched it. Found footage non linear storylines are no big deal and LSD was just a caricature of its western counterparts executed well in indian style but cinematic masterpiece? No it’ll pass
