Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17, Union Minister of State for Cooperation and Faridabad MP Krishan Pal Gurjar will distribute electric scooties to Divyangjans (persons with disabilities) as part of a special initiative under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ in the Faridabad Lok Sabha constituency, ANI reported.
The programme will be held on September 17 at 10:30 am in Faridabad. According to the release, this marks the first time such a large-scale distribution of electric scooties to Divyangjans has been undertaken in Faridabad, with the aim of improving their ease of mobility and helping them become self-reliant. Beneficiaries have already been informed about the event.
Gurjar said PM Modi has dedicated his life to the spirit of service and Antyodaya, and that his birthday is being marked not merely as an occasion but as a resolve to bring positive change to the lives of the needy and underprivileged. Through the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, he said, efforts are being made to extend the benefits of development and public welfare to every section of society, with various such programmes continuing through the month.
