A five-member delegation from the Armenian Armed Forces, led by Major General Alexander Tsakanyan, paid a visit to an Indian Air Force station under the Western Air Command, in a move aimed at deepening military cooperation between the two countries.
During the visit, the delegation was given a guided tour of the station’s operational and maintenance facilities, offering insight into the Indian Air Force’s capabilities and day-to-day functioning.
Officials described the engagement as a step forward in military-to-military relations, noting that such visits help foster mutual understanding, encourage the exchange of knowledge, and improve operational interoperability between the armed forces of the two nations.
The visit was also seen as a reaffirmation of the longstanding defence relationship between India and Armenia, which has grown in recent years through various forms of military and strategic engagement.
