The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a special ‘Abhyas Varg’ workshop for all its Union Ministers and Members of Parliament, scheduled to take place in Delhi from 6th to 9th September 2025. The programme, personally directed by BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda, is aimed at sharpening the ideological clarity, organisational coordination, and parliamentary conduct of the party’s elected representatives.
With multiple state elections ahead and the larger mission of building a ‘Viksit Bharat’ under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this three-day workshop is expected to play a crucial role in aligning the vision of the central leadership with grassroots action.
Focus on Strategy and Organisational Strength
The BJP has instructed all MPs to be present in Delhi by the evening of 6th September at 5:00 p.m., with the venue to be disclosed soon. Attendance is mandatory, underlining the importance the party attaches to this workshop.
According to the official circular, the Abhyas Varg will delve into strategic planning, constituency management, and preparation for upcoming political challenges. The party is keen to ensure that its MPs are not only ideologically committed but also fully equipped to implement and communicate government policies effectively in their constituencies.
Guiding MPs to Be Model Representatives
In line with BJP’s culture of discipline and training, the Abhyas Varg will serve as a platform for MPs especially newly elected ones to learn the do’s and don’ts of public life, parliamentary etiquette, and effective public outreach.
Participants will receive guidance on articulating the party’s welfare initiatives, ensuring that citizens are well-informed about the transformative work being undertaken under the Modi government. The sessions are designed to empower MPs to be model representatives, committed to both national development and local concerns.
Reinforcing Core Ideology and Public Connect
The workshop will also emphasise the BJP’s core ideology of nationalism, development, and cultural pride, helping MPs connect more deeply with the public through issue-based communication.
By understanding the historical and ideological foundations of the party, MPs will be better positioned to counter opposition narratives and project BJP’s governance model as a benchmark. The Abhyas Varg is expected to equip members with the skills to translate policy achievements into strong electoral support.
A Collective Push Towards ‘Viksit Bharat’
Shiv Shakti Nath Bakshi, in the official communication, highlighted that India has achieved remarkable progress over the last 11 years and now holds an important position on the global stage under Prime Minister Modi’s leadership.
However, he stressed that building a developed India requires continuous effort, innovation, and disciplined execution. The role of MPs is central to this mission, and Abhyas Varg is designed to ensure that each representative can contribute effectively to this vision.
Building Discipline, Unity, and Vision
The BJP’s upcoming Abhyas Varg is more than just a workshop it is a strategic exercise in party-building and leadership development. By bringing all Union Ministers and MPs together for three days of focused training, the party is reinforcing its culture of discipline, unity, and commitment to the nation’s progress.
With a clear emphasis on ideological clarity, parliamentary excellence, and public outreach, the programme reflects BJP’s belief that well-prepared and ideologically grounded representatives are the backbone of a strong democracy. As India moves closer to the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’, the Abhyas Varg will ensure that every BJP MP is aligned, prepared, and ready to deliver on the people’s mandate.
