Over the years, Islamist meltdown on Hindu festivals has become a certainty. Saif Ali Khan’s daughter Sara Ali Khan has been the prominent victim of the Islamist hounding merely for celebrating Hindu festivals. While Islamists have exploited phrases like Secularism and Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb to include their faith symbols in Hindu religious events like Namaz at Hindu Mandirs, or Sikh Gurudwaras among others, they have hounded co-religionists for doing ‘shirk’, a sin in Islam. That is, they display abject contempt and intolerance to anyone respecting and/or paying reverence to other religious belief, stifling co-existence and pluralism.

Even on the virtual field, the Islamists didn’t even spare Ayra Shami, daughter of Indian Ace pace bowler Mohammed Shami, their co-religionist.
The recent Islamist meltdown on Hindu festivals triggered when Shami’s ex-wife Hasina Jahan shared a post on Instagram where she posted a picture of her daughter Ayra marking Holi celebrations. In the picture, Ayra Shami can be seen drenched in colours and in the caption, Jahan extended greetings on Holi.
Soon, her post was flooded with hateful comments from Islamists with many ‘condemning’, ‘cursing’ Shami’s ex-wife for raising their daughter in the way she did, respecting Hindu traditions, a shirk, a sin for Islalmists. Some even name called her using derogatory slurs. Here are some of the vile comments to show how the Islamists targeted Shami’s daughter Ayra for celebrating Holi.
It is pertinent to note that this Islamist targeting of Shami’s daughter comes days after Muslim cleric and Islamic hardliners had harassed the Indian cricketer when he prioritised National duty over holding Roza, an Islamic fast kept during the month of Ramzaan. While Islamists hounded him with derogatory slurs, one Muslim Maulana even went to an extent of calling Shami a “criminal” for not keeping Roza during Ramzaan/Ramdan.
The word ‘Secularism’ was added forcibly under the draconian rule of Indira Gandhi during the Emergency days. Over the years, it has given Islamist forces and their sympathisers a free pass to run down Hindu traditions, brainwash Hindus to slowly incorporate their style of worshipping and by extension a slow conversion to the Islamic cult. The cliche phrase used is “Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb”, with neither Ganga or Yamuna being their native waterbody nor they having any reverence to the holy rivers, as well as Tehzeeb being the least associated word with the descendants of the barbaric Islamic tyrants often dubbed as Mallechs. However, when it comes for them, to excercise what they preach — and through which they even guilt trip ‘Dhimmi’ Hindus into, — or even let a section of them to practice it, they go after their own for doing Shirk. Till the time this flawed sense of “Secularism” prevails, one way street to changing Indian demography will continue unseized.
