Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with students, teachers, and parents in the eighth edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha (PPC) 2025. This year’s interaction will take on a different format and style, including eminent personalities joining the Prime Minister. This event will guide students of classes 6 to 12 to manage their exam stress and pressure.
This star-studded edition of PPC 2025 will see the involvement of celebrities such as:
Sadhguru, Deepika Padukone, Mary Kom, Avani Lekhara, Rujuta Divekar, Sonali Sabharwal, FoodPharmer (Revant Himatsingka), Vikrant Massey, Bhumi Pednekar, Technical Guruji (Gaurav Chaudhary), and Radhika Gupta.
It will be aired on February 10, 2025, from 11 AM on different platforms, including Doordarshan, Swayam, Swayam Prabha, PMO’s YT channel, and on the social media handles of the Education and Information & Broadcasting Ministries.
Selection Process and Participants
Students from various states and UTs will be in attendance to interact with the Prime Minister. 36 students from each state and UT have qualified to directly interact with the PM this year. The participants are drawn from various backgrounds: State/UT Board Government Schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Sainik Schools, Eklavya Model Residential Schools, CBSE, and Navodaya Vidyalayas. Some of them are also erstwhile students from the PRERANA school program or, representatives of winners of Kala Utsav and Veer Gatha.
Students got a chance to send in their questions, and the PM will answer a few selected ones, live.
PPC 2025 Format and Reach
For the first time, PPC 2025 will be organized in eight parts so that the learning experience for students and the audience is even more enjoyable. This was extremely special as the program had received over 5 crore registrations from students, teachers, and parents across India and abroad.
Online registration was opened, which would last from December 14, 2024, to January 14, 2025.
Pre-PPC 2025 Activities
To match the spirit of PPC, a set of activities were conducted in schools all across India between January 12th and 23rd, 2025. Some of them were:
Indigenous games sessions
- Marathon runs
- Meme competitions
- Nukkad Natak (Street plays)
- Yoga and meditation sessions
- Poster-making competitions
- Inspirational film screenings
- Mental health workshops and counseling sessions
- Poetry, song, and cultural performances.

Pariksha Pe Charcha was launched in the year 2018, where PM Modi interacts with students, teachers, and parents to give guidance in dealing with exam stress. Over the years, this initiative has become immensely popular, offering students the needed confidence and the apt outlook towards exams.
