Vipul Amrutlal Shah, take a bow!

Vipul Amrutlal Shah

“The Kerala Stoy is a lie!”

“Everything about The Kerala Story is a myth!”

“The Kerala Story is harmful for the minorities!”

“The figures told in The Kerala Story are fake!”

Believe me, you are not the only infuriate by such nonsensical arguments. However, it seems that Vipul Amrutlal Shah who has decided to take the bull by the horns!

The insensitive liberals

The Kerala Story, directed by Sudipto Sen, needs no special introduction. The film created a strong buzz at the box office, attracting the attention of the entire nation to illegal conversions. The film has so far earned close to 165 crores against the budget of about 20 to 30 crores. Now this film is heading towards the elusive 200 crore club.

However, the left liberals are continuously wailing and howling about the movie even now. Some were calling it a BJP-funded propaganda, while some, like a shameless person like Dhruv Rathee, directly questioned the pain and suffering of these victims.

Now the makers of “The Kerala Story” held a special conference to answer all these allegations, where 26 real victims including the writers, directors and actors of the film participated. This conference was moderated by Times Now Navbharat, and the main objective of this conference was to answer the questions related to the film, and to show the mirror to those who tell it lies.

“We aren’t here to satisfy everybody!”

Going by his tone, it seems that Vipul Amrutlal Shah was waiting for this moment. He went hammer and tongs after the detractors of the same, who accused him of being anti Muslim by releasing this movie.

Vipul Amrutlal Shah had no time for niceties. He shot back, “Let me tell you one simple thing. Gabbar Singh is the villain in Sholay. So, is director Ramesh Sippy against the entire Singh community? Whenever a film talks about some bad people, it is not always associated with any religion. The villain in Singham Returns was a priest. Why didn’t you object there? Why can’t we say that this film is against terrorism, let’s promote it? Why is the question always raised that it is referring to some religion?

When Rohit Shetty took the liberals to the cleaners!

But wait a moment, doesn’t this remind you of something similar? Why not! Post COVID, when Indian cinema was limping towards normalcy, Rohit Shetty got “Sooryavanshi” released. The film, though successful, came under the radar for portraying Islamic terrorists as they were, and shedding some light on the issue of love jihad, however brief as it was.

As such, when Rohit Shetty was questioned by a reporter from The Quint, he got irritated as he mentioned, “Jaikant Shikre to Singham was Marathi, a Hindu. In its sequel, a Hindu baba was the villain. In Simmba too, Durva Ranade was a Brahmin from Maharashtra. These three negative forces were Hindu, then you did not have any problem, so why now?”

Seeing herself being surrounded, the journalist Abira Dhar gave whimsical arguments and started defending them, when Rohit Shetty took a step ahead and said, “That is not the point. When a terrorist comes from Pakistan, do you see his caste? But after reading the opinion of some journalists, my views have definitely changed, because they were saying in brackets that look, upper caste Hindus are teaching moral lessons to bad Muslims, and this trend is wrong!”

In such a situation, it would not be wrong to say that “The Kerala Story” has left the Leftists nowhere. Neither anyone is ready to listen to them, nor is the public giving two hoots about them. It would be interesting to see the next film that is all set to give them a living nightmare.
