Ishan Kishan steps up as KL Rahul’s replacement in WTC Final squad of India

Ishan Kishan, an IPL player for the Mumbai Indians, has been in outstanding form, scoring 293 runs in 10 games of IPL 2023. In domestic cricket, the 24-year-old has also consistently performed well for Jharkhand, his state’s team.
Kishan replaces injured Rahul in India Test squad for WTC Final
The Indian team’s batting line-up, which already includes players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Cheteshwar Pujara, and Ajinkya Rahane, is strengthened by Kishan’s inclusion and Rahul’s exclusion. In addition to being a competent wicketkeeper, Kishan can serve as Rishabh Pant’s backup in the event of an injury.
