The copious tear shedding on oh-so-cute Asad and Atiq

How a section of the media is busy with appeasement.

Asad Ahmed encounter

Asad Ahmed encounter: A political divide must be cherished as a necessity for the country until it serves no sinister interests. But unfortunately, Indian politics has stepped unimaginably low. Muslim appeasement has blinded the politicians so much so that they are now becoming ignorant of crimes and brutal atrocities by the mafias, who are Muslims.

Asad Ahmed encounter: How a section of the media is busy with appeasement

During the time period between the encounter of Asad Ahmed to the murder of Atiq and Ashraf, the political leaders from different opposition parties opened their fronts. With a motive to target the government and appease the Muslims, leaders like Asadudin Owaisi and Kapil Sibal, among others, are now set to give a communal angle to the encounters and killings.

A criminal is a criminal first and then a muslim

Asaduddin Owaisi, during his address after the Asad Ahmed encounter, seemed furious because of Asad’s identity as a Muslim first and then a criminal. He raised the issue of the killings of Junaid and Nasir in Haryana. He asked to encounter the ones who killed them. Alleging BJP of acting on a communal basis, Owaisi said that “this is not an encounter, but it is an encounter of the constitution.”

Similarly, after Atiq’s murder, he tweeted, “Atiq is the second Muslim ex-MP who was murdered with impunity. Ehsan Jaffry was ruthlessly hacked to death by a mob in Gujarat in 2002, and today it’s Atiq. Shot and killed in police custody.”

His statement clearly depicts his mentality that if there is any criminal who is muslim, should never be prosecuted. However, a criminal who had foreign-made weapons and was on the run as a fugitive could only be encountered if he did not surrender. Additionally, there are people who are spreading this appeasement and criminal glory propaganda through Twitter.

Asad Ahmed encounter; Lame argument of a known lawyer

On similar lines, Kapil Sibal, who himself is a celebrated lawyer of the Supreme Court, asked after the encounter of Asad Ahmed about how a 19-year-old boy can be a threat to national security?  A person who kills a victim, bombs his house in daylight, mocking the law and order, is just a 19-year-old boy!

The downplaying of the crime would be the worst argument of any lawyer, but maybe it is not a lawyer but a politician in him who was speaking. The list of such Islam appeasers is large and cannot be entirely covered.

There are certain questions that citizens of India must reflect on. For instance, why is it that the death of a criminal is mourned? Why is it that when a criminal has an Islamic background, their religious identity is emphasised over their criminal actions? And why do some politicians give a voice to individuals with a history of violence and criminal activity, allowing them to be seen as lawmakers rather than criminals?
