Ranveer Singh is embarking on a difficult journey

When it comes to success in the entertainment industry, it's a fickle friend indeed.

Life is like a rollercoaster ride, with success and failure as its twists and turns. But for Ranveer Singh, it seems like someone hit the emergency brake mid-ride! In this article, we’ll explore how YRF ‘eviction’ has thrown a spanner in Ranveer Singh career, making his path even more challenging than a game of hopscotch on a hot potato field.

Ranveer Singh; YRF took a break….

When it comes to success in the entertainment industry, it’s a fickle friend indeed. Ranveer Singh seems to be experiencing this firsthand as he finds himself out in the cold after Yash Raj Films reportedly gave him the boot. It’s a harsh reminder that even those who once helped you rise to the top can turn their back on you in a heartbeat.

Ranveer Singh must be feeling like he’s been kicked to the curb by his former employer, YRF. But as they say, in showbiz, one day you’re in, and the next day, you’re out.

Hattrick of flops!

Yash Raj Films (YRF), one of the most reputed and successful production houses in Bollywood, has been struggling to maintain its dominance at the box office in the last two years. Despite their massive budget and star-studded cast, their recent movies failed to perform as per the expectations.

According to the sources, YRF seems to be focusing on improving its record, which has led them to rethink their strategy of casting Ranveer Singh. It is believed that YRF has taken a break from casting Ranveer Singh as he has not been able to prove his mettle as a bankable actor, and his recent performances have not been up to the mark.

This is a significant setback for Ranveer Singh, who made his debut “Band Baaja Baaraat” with YRF in 2010 and went on to deliver several successful movies under their banner. However, with YRF now showing hesitation in casting him, it is clear that the actor needs to up his game and deliver some hits to remain relevant in the industry.

Unique streak of bad luck

Ranveer Singh seems to have hit a unique streak of bad luck. He has not had a single film as a solo lead hit in the past four years, and his partnership with YRF has proven to be a disaster for almost nine years. YRF’s recent record at the box office has been far from impressive, with none of their films in the last two years achieving even average success. The less said about “Pathaan”, the better.

In the past, Ranveer Singh has delivered three consecutive flops in a row. Even his much-anticipated movie “83” failed to make a mark at the box office, despite strong PR efforts and a clear attempt to appeal to all audiences. The movie suffered not only from the competition of “Spider-Man” but also from the unexpected success of the Telugu film “Pushpa”.

Even after all these setbacks, Ranveer Singh seems unfazed by his poor track record. His recent release “Jayeshbhai Jordaar” came and went without much fanfare, and his collaboration with Rohit Shetty in “Circus” was expected to revive his career, but it had the opposite effect. The film failed, and Rohit Shetty’s previous successful streak was brought to a halt.

The future looks bleak as well

Ranveer Singh’s future is looking bleak as the equations don’t seem to be in his favor. Despite his highly anticipated film “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Amar Prem Kahani” being almost ready for release, doubts linger. Firstly, the film is directed by Karan Johar, whose last film “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil” disappointed audiences in almost every way at the box office.

Secondly, the film’s release date has been changed multiple times, and COVID-19 has played a role in none of them. Initially, the film was slated for release in December 2022, but it was pushed to 28th April. However, when it was revealed that the highly anticipated second season of Mani Ratnam’s “Ponniyan Selvan” was also set for release on the same day, the release date of Ranveer’s film got pushed to July, which is not good news for his image and career.
