Rahul Gandhi Cambridge speech: Was it Mani Shankar Aiyar, Congress’ man-Friday, who sought Pakistani intervention to dethrone Modi during his Pakistan visit, or was it the Pakistani-origin professor, Kamal Munir, who influenced policies in Pakistan?
Gandhi scion and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is notorious for his hubris. He has been making obnoxious commentary with absolute impunity. His most deplorable anti-constitutional remark—that India is a ‘Union of States”—virtually reeks of secessionist and divisive theology. This has brought the party to its current state of peril.
But the latest outcry for foreign intervention will be the most detrimental act that is still revealing itself and snowballing further. This may culminate in the total obliteration of the grand old party in next year’s scheduled Lok Sabha elections.
Did Rahul Gandhi play to the tunes of a Pakistani professor or strategist?
A Pakistani-origin person named Kamal Munir appeared on stage with Congress leader Rahul Gandhi during his Cambridge ‘speech’. While inviting Mr. Gandhi to address the MBA student gathering, Munir described the Congress leader as a member of a “deep lineage of world leaders”.
Now, the question arises: who is this Pakistani citizen, Kamal Munir, with whom Rahul Gandhi shared the stage at a time when he made several derisive comments about Indian democracy and virtually leased India’s sovereignty in matters of dealing with its own internal affairs?
Not only was Rahul Gandhi demanding foreign intervention into India & attacking our sovereignty on foreign soil but look at this now! Apparently he was sharing stage with Kamal Munir a Pakistani while he was undermining India & Indian institutions
Shocking ! Congress must… https://t.co/XYwSIehzEC pic.twitter.com/ZmHsOyuPAO

Kamal Munir is the pro-vice chancellor of the University of Cambridge. He is a professor of strategy and policy at the Cambridge Judge Business School, where the Congress leader Rahul Gandhi chose to deliver his questionable speech on Indian democracy.

He was part of the team that developed the 2010 Industrial Policy of Pakistan. Professor Munir is claimed to be close to the Pakistani ‘establishment’. The Pakistani government had earlier awarded him the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz award for his services to the state. Considering Pakistan’s notorious spy agency’s modus operandi, it can’t be denied with absolute conviction that he may still be dictated to by the agency to further its interests.

This again begs the question: was this an accident or was the choice of venue predetermined in advance? Is there a strange fascination with Congress leader Mr. Gandhi being the man at the wrong place at the wrong time, as he has been caught in several controversies like this earlier as well? Be it the Chinese embassy fiasco or signing undisclosed secretive deals with the communist regime in China, Seeing the past—Mani Aiyar’s plea to Pakistan and secret deal with China—and the present—the foreign intervention cry by Rahul Gandhi—the future of Congress’ as a political party seems to be very bleak.
