Uncovering the Conspiracy: Those Who Tried to Bring Down RRR

While the entire nation is enjoying the commercial and ‘Oscar’ success of RRR, British Imperialist and their sympathizers in India are expressing anger. They are perturbed by the fact that no other Indian director in recent times has dared to portray Sanatan Dharma and nationalism in this manner. This article highlight that these haters of RRR did everything possible to bring down RRR but they failed royally.

Britishers hatred towards RRR

The British state sponsored broadcaster, BBC, is notorious in India for its agenda peddling. It has done the same while its reportage on Academy Awards aka Oscars. Have a look at a video shared by their official handle.

In this video, they have shown the winning moments of key Oscar winners but they willfully omitted RRR getting the Oscar in the best original song category. In fact, they have deliberately shown two nominees in this category.

In other categories they showcased winners while in Best original song category, one in which RRR won the Oscar, they included Lady Gaga’s ‘Hold My Hand’ and Rihana’s ‘Lift me up’.

Isn’t this a classic case of BBC level hypocrisy or rather hatred for truth. They can’t digest the fact that RRR showcased them in the true light as they were.

In fact, earlier a British ‘distorian’ lamented that RRR showcased them in bad light and Netflix should be ashamed for promoting it.

In an article published in ‘The Spectator’, British historian Robert Tombs claimed that many civilizations have fabricated Heroes by punching down the ‘fair’ Britishers.

He said, “We have played such an important role in the world over the last few centuries that we have accumulated enemies as well as friends. In many nationalist myths, we are cast in the role of villains. It’s a way that quite a few countries make up heroic stories about themselves.”

Further, he lamented, “But the worst result will be in India. RRR panders to the reactionary and violent Hindu nationalism that is coming to dominate Indian culture and politics, fanned by the Modi government. In reality, RRR does not record the nastiness of 1920s British rule, but it does reflect the growing nastiness of today’s India. Netflix should be ashamed for promoting it.”

To them we can ask only one thing. If RRR was trying to incite artificial emotions then what were they doing in our motherland for almost two hundred years? Some of the scenes shown in the film “Sardar Udham” show the same Jallianwala Bagh massacre that was ordered by British scoundrel like Michael O’Dwyer. Since then, neither the royal family of Britain nor its government has ever officially apologized for the massacre and coloniser plundering, loot and Bengal famine.

Then there were individuals like Rathna Pathak Shah and Resul Pookutty who had their own vile take on RRR. For Mrs. Shah, RRR was regressive and looked back when India had to look forward and for Mr Pookutty, RRR was a vile gay glorifying movie.

This pathetic behaviour pattern was also highlighted by three times Grammy award winning musical composer Ricky Kej.

Come what may, these conspiracies wouldn’t work as they can’t stop an idea whose time has come and now onwards it is time for India and Indians to shine.
