Tutla Bhavani Mata Mandir – Guide

The Mandir of Maa Tutla Bhavani is situated on the hill of Kaimur in Tilauthu block in Rohtas districtof Bihar. This Dham is situated at a distance of about 30 KM from Sasaram. On the other hand, the distance of Maa Mundeshwari Devi located in Bhabua is about 86 kms. Presently Bihar Government has developed this Devi Sthan as Eco Park as well as this area as Kaimur Wildlife Sanctuary. Here there is a bridge made of rope, which is registered in the name of unique bridge in Bihar. The way to the temple is only through this, which is no less than an adventure.

History of this Temple

The idol of Maa Tutaleshwari Bhavani is very ancient. Tutla Bhavani Mata Mandir is famous for fulfilling the wishes of the mind or getting the desired fruit. There are two types of idols of Tutla Maa, broken and new. This idol is an excellent specimen of Garhwal art. Due to having eight hands of Tutla Mata, she is also known as Ashtabhuji Bhavani. The antiquity of the temple is known from the inscription received from here that long ago King Pratap Dhawal had got one of the two idols consecrated.

Tutla Bhavani Mata Mandir opens at 6:00 AM in the morning and close at 9:00 PM in the evening. Morning aarti is performed at 7:00 AM in the morning and evening aarti is performed at 8:30 PM in the evening.

Pilot Babadham

Pilot Baba Ka Dham is situated in Sasaram city of Rohtas district, which is a wonderful place. Here an 80 feet high statue of Lord Buddha has been constructed in Pilot Dham. This Dham is built by Pilot Baba.

Bhaluni Dham

The Rohtasgarh fort is situated at a distance of about 40 kilometers to the south of Dehri on the Kaimur range, which is about 1500 meters above sea level. The waterfall flowing from here directly joins the Son river.
