Baba Ramdevra Mandir is located in Ramdevra village in Jaisalmer district on Jodhpur – Jaisalmer Road of Rajasthan. This temple is a popular religious attraction in Rajasthan and attracts thousands of pilgrims and tourists. Ramdevra Temple is popular for its religious importance along with its historical importance.

History of this Temple

History of Ramdevra Mandir Jodhpur Rajasthan says that Baba Ramdevji took samadhi at this place in the 14th century and since then this place is considered to be the eternal resting place of Baba Ramdevji. Baba Ramdevji was born in the Tomar Rajput family during the 14th century, who had supernatural powers.

Abandoned his materialistic life and accepted sadhuism very early in his life for the service of mankind. But at the age of 33, Baba Ramdevji left his divine body after taking samadhi. After this, in 1900, Maharaja Ganga Singh of Jodhpur and Bikaner built the Ramdevra temple at this place, which is today known as one of the important religious places in entire Rajasthan.

Ramdevra Mandir Jodhpur Rajasthan opens at 7:00 AM in the morning and close at 9:00 PM in the evening. Morning aarti is performed at 8:00 AM in the morning and evening aarti is performed at 8:30 PM in the evening.

The lake is located close to the Amar Sagar Palace and is surrounded by several temples, monuments and havelis that add to its beauty. The lake was built by Maharawal Akhai Singh during the 17th century.
